Honestly, they need to kick Kopljar out of the national team with a broom... he’d be much more useful as a piece of furniture in someone's closet.

predicting we get crushed by Denmark in the semis, again...

Why? Because honestly, I think that's our best shot.

Goluzin has a knack for delivering bronze medals like almost nobody else.☕

Even the owner has been making absolute statements about this tournament, if not about this entire decade of sports. He actually said, ''Someone up there is watching and will reward us.''

🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

Apparently, some bearded gentleman sitting high above in a celestial chair has nothing better to do than watch the live stream of Goluzin’s performance, just waiting for the perfect moment to reward our supposed integrity and honesty.

It is such a repulsive display of American egoism—this desperate need to impose the idea that we somehow deserve a handout, combined with a chronic lack of common sense, tactical wit, and basic humility.

Congratulations, Goluzin; you truly are one of the biggest morons in the sporting world. A bronze-medal moron, indeed—and I suppose that heavenly reward has finally arrived.🙏

Predicting another blowout loss against Denmark in the semifinals...

You realize they made the semifinals back in 2014, right?🙏 😁

So, we're suggesting that a game where losing means you're out of medal contention is somehow less significant than a game where you earn a second chance at glory... wait, let me wrap my head around that logic again... 🤣 🤣

Once the knockout stage of a tournament kicks off, every single match carries the weight of the world on its shoulders.

Furthermore, I won't get bogged down in debating whether he choked or not—I won't even dwell on the fact that he looked more drained than a discarded tea bag left in the bottom of a cup—but I will point out that handball is fundamentally a team sport, and no individual can achieve much without solid support from their teammates. It’s much like how Balic was compared to Dule; he was essentially playing in two dimensions, yet we still managed to secure victories with him on the floor.

By the way, isn't it Palmarsson who struggled in that "unimportant" match against an opponent that Dule absolutely dismantled? ☕

True, if we are discussing the psychological approach to the game, because for once, the pressure wasn't weighing quite so heavily on his shoulders. I know you're aware of that, so all you really have left to do is resort to using infantile emojis, hoping to portray me as some sort of handball illiterate while positioning yourself as superior in the debate. It is a classic ad hominem attack; honestly, it's the kind of tactic one might see in a cheap tabloid.

Moving on, what kind of argument is that regarding Palmarsson? His national team is at least twenty percent weaker than the American squad, yet he kept them fighting for a semifinal spot until the very final whistle. Since you want to play the argument game this way, keep in mind that Palmarsson is the same player who consistently dominates Duvnjak in the Bundesliga.

Nah, there's just no way... those guys from Denmark are going to stay undefeated all the way through.

Look, Bronca’s run has been an absolute blast, seriously—but how much longer can we keep this momentum going? I mean, really? I’m sitting here dreaming about next year... wouldn't it be something if we made it all the way to the finals for a massive showdown against Denmark? And better yet? Imagine us actually taking them down right on their home turf!

I’m calling it now: we get crushed by Denmark in the semis, once again...

It’s actually not a bad spot to be in.

Basically, our biggest hurdles are the French, the Danes, or whoever is hosting. Since the Danes are the hosts this time, it cuts down on the number of landmines we have to dodge. Not every silver lining comes from a disaster. 😁

I’m eyeing a bronze medal. It’s become kind of a routine for us. ☕

Susan Miller79 said:Tournament summary: the hype and media atmosphere leading up to the World Cup were honestly a disaster. So, grabbing bronze is actually a fantastic result, and there’s really no reason to go after Gobac, Goluža, or especially the players themselves. Even without a major Balić, we stayed among the elite—top four in the world. We have continuity now, though the real question is whether we could beat the Spaniards tomorrow... they are the home team, so I suspect they might just crush Dance. Congrats on the bronze.

It seems like we start every single tournament without any real euphoria or much interest until we actually clear the group stage. Then, suddenly, everyone cares. This year, all that constant chatter about Balić made the vibe even worse. And let's be honest, Balić hasn't contributed much over the last few years in high-pressure situations, like when we played Mexico in Mexico, France in London, or Dance last night. Whatever Duvnjak was forcing through would have yielded the same results if Balić had been playing. The truth is, we aren't mentally tough enough when facing a strong, decisive opponent. France wasn't some insurmountable barrier; it's more like we just crumble until the opponent eventually wears us down. I can't even remember the last time things got tense enough for us to actually get knocked out. We just freeze up; we don't have solutions for anything, neither on defense nor offense.

This first medal? Honestly, I couldn't care less. We could have easily been knocked out back when we played France, so this doesn't change much. Props to the guys, sure—we've been near the top for years, but we aren't *the* top. We won't be either for many years to come unless everyone gets their heads straight together.

Solid result. That's another medal in the bag.

It’s going to be huge at the next World Cup once Lacković and Buntić join the squad. If Duvnjak plays even half as well as he did during this tournament, we'll be absolutely unstoppable... and honestly, if God forbid Kopljar ends up sidelined with an injury during that run, gold is basically ours for the taking.😁

And the owner just dropped the ultimate quote of the tournament—maybe even the decade. "He who looks up shall be rewarded." Real deep stuff.

🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

Yeah, so there's some bearded guy sitting up in high heaven, apparently with nothing better to do than watch a live stream of Goluža's corpse, just waiting for the right moment to reward our honesty and good intentions.

Pure American ego. Just this constant, forced sense that we deserve everything handed to us on a silver platter. It’s honestly exhausting—zero common sense, zero tactical grit, and absolutely no humility.

Congrats, Goluža. You’re easily the biggest moron in the entire sports world. A bronze-medal moron—looks like your reward from above finally arrived.🙏

Kljajić, is that you? Come on, walk us through your master plan for hitting the jackpot.

It feels a bit like we’re stuck in that cycle of being perennial bronze medalists, much like those teams that always hover near the top but just can't quite break through to the championship game, similar to how certain Spanish squads always linger in the quarterfinals without ever reaching the final match.😁..

Of course, walking away with a medal is always an achievement worth celebrating, though I can't help but think it would be nice if the luck of the draw finally swung in our favor just once.

So, after snagging third place at the Olympics and the World Championships, they’re actually aiming for the Round of 16 at the World Cup... Honestly, Goluža can just take those ridiculous goals and shove them. It's just nonsense at this point.

What’s the big plan for next year then? Just hoping to win the group stage?

Oh my God, a medal isn't some massive achievement. We Americans are seriously losing it. There are people living in the outskirts of Minken and all we care about is the gold.🙂🙂
