I totally missed that there was a specific thread for this, but since this one’s clearly blowing up...
So, my gums are acting up big time right around my wisdom tooth, and my dentist suggested I get a deep cleaning done—you know, that ultrasonic scaling thing with the rinse and all that?
Anyway, they already put me on some antibiotics to deal with the inflammation, but here's the kicker: can I actually go through with the cleaning while the gums are still so swollen, or am I better off just waiting until things calm down first?
