Snowy joys (or nightmares)

Hey there

Anyone else dealing with absolute chaos on the roads today? It’s like the snowplows didn't even bother showing up—there's a solid foot of snow covering the road, and honestly, I can barely tell where the pavement ends and the ditch begins. To top it all off, nothing beats the joy of trying to put on tire chains without gloves... 🙂 the end result 16 miles was about an hour and a half of pure misery

Anyway, just one of those days...

So, I headed out from Brooklyn toward the Square this morning. Made it as far as the bridge—then the shuttle line for the Lakers was backed up forever. Good luck snagging a taxi. Ended up taking a nice, long hour-long walk back instead.

It’s not just happening in NYC, either. Out where I am (about an hour's drive from Philly), the snow started coming down right around this time yesterday, and the plow has only made one pass since then—one single trip in about 15 hours. And that’s not even covering all the streets.

But hey, as long as they can get some news crew out there to film how "ready" the plows are and how they’re just sitting there waiting for the signal, 🙄it’s all good, right?
