I was wondering if anyone else here might be dealing with a similar issue. I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night completely drenched—I mean, my shirt is absolutely soaked through, and it makes it impossible to get back to sleep. Sometimes, it’s so disruptive that I end up staring at the ceiling for the rest of the night. Has anyone else experienced this?

Well, I actually live with an autoimmune condition, so I suspect that might be the underlying cause. Before I finally received a proper diagnosis, my doctors just kept shrugging their shoulders, assuming everything was just due to early menopause. Honestly, I never received a definitive answer back then.
It seems to flare up more often whenever my energy levels dip or if I’m feeling particularly anxious.

Please don't let this scare you, but if I were in your shoes, I would definitely schedule an appointment with my doctor and insist on finding out the root cause.

Thank you for getting back to me. I only managed about two hours of sleep between yesterday and today, yet strangely, I don't feel exhausted at all. I actually went to see my doctor regarding this issue, but I didn't walk away with any concrete answers. Since I am only 28 years old, I feel it would be a bit premature to start relying on sleeping pills. I find myself becoming quite anxious during these bouts of insomnia—does that happen to you as well?

I recall reading somewhere once that this kind of thing can happen when your blood sugar levels take a sudden dip during the night.🤷
