I managed to rack up enough points for a three-day ban after only 60 posts, and since then, I’ve been getting slapped with a warning every other day, so here are my stats

Actually being able to participate is basically impossible because certain topics are subject to these totally unreasonable moderators who just sit there with their fingers on the trigger, handing out warnings the second someone new shows up or if they simply don't like the look of you, and honestly, if I had posted more topics, I probably would have collected even more penalties, but I am absolutely not some troll or a guy looking to stir up trouble on this forum, I’m just an ordinary, average guy caught in this mess.
Here are just a few of the warnings I've received

http://i47.tinypic.com/i27zaa.jpg

Regarding the very first thread I started, right when I opened it, the moderator suggested I go look for a date in the specific thread designated for that, but since I didn't actually start a thread to find a girl or seek any kind of physical connection or dating vibe at all, I tried to explain that to him, and you can read his response for yourselves

My first warning came right after I started a thread in the sports betting section, where I tried searching everywhere for the right spot and even started a separate thread asking where the betting discussion was located, only for the whole thing to be closed without a single reply.
After I politely asked what rule I had broken and pointed out that I was brand new with only a handful of posts, the moderator decided he was still going to give me a warning just because I was a newbie.

So, after I actually thanked the honorable moderator for giving me a warning just because I was new—even though I still had no clue what I did wrong—the moderator came back with a message saying he actually wouldn't take the warning away after all and would just leave it on my record.😕

Then, the very next day, some troll was constantly provoking me, so I put him on ignore, but I could still see his quotes even while he was ignored, and after getting fed up with his lies, I told him to just back off and leave me alone, and boom, I got a warning.

I tried talking to the moderator and even apologized, but there was no forgiveness, it was just straight to the guillotine for me, so I naively went to file an appeal, but the administrator wouldn't even listen, claiming moderator decisions are final, one voice, one mind, while the other two administrators just sat there silently waiting... for me to make a mistake.

Well, luckily for them, I did make a mistake, apparently I commented on a user who had commented on me, but his post vanished and my response was the one that got flagged.
This administrator acted incredibly fast to shut me down so I wouldn't "troll" the entire community and clutter everything up.

Today, I went to post a photo of some winnings I had, and I made sure to read the rules first so I wouldn't mess anything up, checked out the existing images, and then uploaded mine, noting that the rules say not to use massive images but don't specify dimensions, and since I saw much larger ones already posted, I figured mine was fine, and I even went out of my way to warn the moderators that I didn't want any trouble, asking nicely to just delete the post if I broke a rule.

Only to receive this message from the moderator just 15 seconds later.

"No more leniency in the future," as if I had done something catastrophic, as if I had crippled the entire site with this picture or attacked the whole community, which is apparently how they view me—just another negative, trolling problem, and it feels like every user here is just a pawn ready to be punished while the moderators joke around at our expense, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they just pick their next target based on a group chat.

I’ve definitely gone and broken some rule here somewhere, and I am absolutely certain that you guys are going to kick me off this forum because honestly, this whole place is starting to feel more like some kind of digital dictatorship where people get banned over the tiniest little things and there is just zero freedom of speech or any actual tolerance for anyone else's opinion!

I really, truly hope you don't go ahead and delete this post of mine—which is basically my general grievance regarding how this entire site is being run—but I have to say, I have my doubts about whether you will

The administrators are clearly just shielding the moderators, especially those bad ones who act like they can do whatever they want to the users without any consequences at all!🤷

You’re just wandering around the forum ignoring the rules 🤷
And now you've gone and broken them again by posting private messages 🤷

Look, if this wasn't actually an issue with the moderators or admins—since you've been getting flagged by several of them now—it would be because you simply aren't reading or understanding the rules 🤷

The rules governing this forum are quite explicit and clearly defined, so I am at a bit of a loss as to what we are meant to accomplish here.

One simply cannot resort to calling other members hyenas or mentally unstable without anticipating a red card from the moderators. Those are the fundamental ground rules of the game. I suppose you technically *can* act that way, but if you do, you really should expect to be penalized for it.

It isn't as though there has been some grand conspiracy formed against you; rather, it seems that a series of various issues have just happened to pile up all at once, somewhat haphazardly. 😁

Oh, please. You can do way more than that. It really just depends on which sub-forum you're causing drama in and whose nickname you're trying to trash. Honestly, I fell for that same kind of nonsense myself right after I made (my) new handle following a long break from the site. And man, it’s been hilarious watching how seriously some people take these "punishments."

The only thing I actually feel embarrassed about is trying to explain to my real-life friends that insulting people—no matter what the reason—is strictly against the rules here and gets you flagged. I felt like such an idiot doing that, even though I rarely lose my cool over the absolute garbage random strangers type at me on this board.

Look, it's obvious there are decent people on the mod team who scrub this stuff regardless of who's involved. As for the other ones? Don't waste your breath typing back to them. The admins will eventually do their jobs once someone starts poking them or their sensitive little fan clubs, folks...

It hasn't actually been every other day, so let's not exaggerate things here. You received your first two warnings on September 7th, but one of them was actually rescinded at the request of the moderator. She was definitely trying to work with you there, and if you had checked your profile, you would have seen that yourself. 🙂 Your second warning came on September 19th because you were trolling—you can't just tell people to go screw themselves; that’s simply not how we do things on this forum. If someone is provoking you, just report their post to the moderators by clicking the little icon , which is exactly what that feature is for. As for the last warning for trolling, I was the one who issued it on September 25th because you were getting into a back-and-forth argument with another user instead of sticking to the actual topic. And regarding your claim that he labeled you a troll and a clone, well, he received a warning for that as well.

We have general rules for the forum, and most sub-forums have their own specific, more detailed guidelines, and we expect all users to read them and follow them. It’s pretty clear you didn't do that, because you haven't received a single warning without cause.

The very first thread I started—when I opened it, the moderator suggested I look for a girl in the designated dating thread. But since I wasn't even looking for a girl or any kind of physical connection or dating setup, I tried to explain that to him, and you can read his response for yourselves.

I will agree with you that you should have received a more specific and precise answer, but you also phrased your question in a very offensive and inappropriate way toward the users who were actually discussing the topic.

silverviper3 said:My first warning happened after I started a thread in the sports betting section. I tried searching everywhere for the right thread, and I even started a separate thread asking where the betting discussion was, but that thread was closed without any reply.
After I politely asked what I did wrong, which rule I broke, and pointed out that I was brand new with only a few posts, the moderator decided to waive the warning since I was a newcomer.

I do agree that we should be more accommodating to new users and explain things clearly if they ask politely about their mistakes. For things like that, you can always use private messages so you don't have to start entire threads in the General Discussion area.

Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that I went ahead and stripped out the IMG tag from your opening post because those images were just massive—they were stretching the whole page out! To keep things looking clean, please try to resize your photos to 640*480 before posting, as that's the standard limit here on the forum. 🙂

Also, just a quick heads-up for the future: posting private messages isn't allowed unless they're official moderator warnings or disciplinary notices. I just wanted to give you the lowdown now so you don't run into trouble later.

I really hope this clears things up and doesn't make you feel like everyone's ganging up on you! You've had a bit of a bumpy, clumsy start getting settled in here, but please don't let it get you down—it definitely doesn't have to stay that way, and we're happy to have you around. 🙂

I was really just pointing out that the moderators here seem way too quick to pull the trigger, and while I’m sure that isn't true for everyone, it certainly feels that way based on every single interaction I've had lately—well, except for this last one! On other forums I've spent time on, you can't just tell someone to "get lost" without an admin or moderator stepping in immediately to nip it in the bud and maintain the vibe, because you don't have these bored trolls just sitting around waiting for someone to snap so they can hand out penalties, but hey, fine, I'll try again and I'll happily concede that I might have had a bit of a clumsy and rocky start on this forum, especially since you at least gave me an honest response.

So, go ahead and lock the thread if you want to.🙂

The atmosphere over there is just so strictly controlled—it feels like if you show even a hint of attitude, a moderator is right there waiting to step in and shut the whole thing down before you can even finish your sentence!

Look, the mods aren't exactly sitting behind their screens 24/7, but hey, you can always flag any posts that you think are breaking the rules—that way, they’ll spot them much faster! 🙂

silverviper3 said:I’m going to give this another shot. I honestly think I just had a bit of a clumsy, rough start here on the forum, but at least you gave me a real, thoughtful response to work with.

Honestly, you might as well just lock the thread at this point. 🙂

Look, I’m asking you—please, just take a second to actually read through the rules and stick to the guidelines we've set out here.

Catch you guys later! 🙂
