I mean, it’s just common sense, right? If some new mod rolls in without having any clue about a user's history on this board, they're obviously gonna look at their disciplinary record first. It’s basically how you judge someone's vibe here.
It's pretty much like checking someone's rap sheet with the FBI or local PD.
And honestly, a criminal record tells you a hell of a lot about how a person actually carries themselves, so you tend to approach those types with a bit of caution—it's just basic human nature, nothing weird about it.
Sure, I guess a user who’s racked up pages and pages of warnings can totally turn things around and be a model citizen, but let's be real, I don't see those comeback stories happening very often.🙂
