Decluttering: How do you guys get rid of old stuff?

I'm looking for some advice—where can I actually take old quilts, blankets, rugs, and similar household items? Honestly, they're still in pretty decent shape, and I'd feel terrible just tossing them out with the bulk trash only to have them sitting on a curb for days...

We brought blankets to the Denver shelter😉

They'll need them for the dogs😉
