This is all happening over on M. K., which is always a mess.

Since there’s zero actual moderation there—and honestly, the mods are basically joining in on the trolling and mocking—I figured I’d have to bring this up here instead.

It is totally wrong to label gay people as "sick" or to bring up places like Small Town, USA in that kind of context. It's disgusting.

The whole vibe of the discussion makes it sound like they're talking about mutants.

It’s just not okay. Even if this was happening in M. K., where the tolerance for spam is through the roof and nobody keeps things in check, I’m seriously appealing to have that thread closed or removed entirely. Anyone with half a brain can see how messed up it is.

Laughter... I still remember poking fun at you back during that big convention when I argued that we don't even need to worry about the "hunters"—they just end up canceling each other out while driving up the population of single women. Though, I did mention that those female hunters really ought to be penalized for keeping our guys' "warm locks" away from their natural desires...

P.S. And who are you to tell me where I should hang out on this site? For your information, I avoid that trashy corner of Reddit because I don't want to waste my time on nonsense. But if you click "new posts," everything shows up regardless of the category, and wouldn't you know it—you actually opened a thread just to mock us.

I saw on Facebook that Reddit is being branded as a homophobic gathering spot for hicks. If Anderlon wants that kind of publicity just to protect one shameless little corner, be my guest! Honestly, go ahead and open even more threads about gay topics just so you can spit on us. It’s easy enough to go from Facebook straight to the local news...

I don't even bother posting over on M. K.'s page—honestly, that corner of Reddit is just pure small-town nonsense to me 😳—but I'll tell you this much: if you can't stand the vibe there, don't go. It's really that simple.

Besides, it’s exactly that kind of constant bickering and petty, passive-aggressive sniping that pushed the loaders to where they are now—basically making people want to roll their eyes and walk the other direction the second they show up.

Then why on earth aren't they opening up PDFs for all these other little outcasts who are constantly posting over on the legal board? Just let people write on their own damn PDF, and anyone who finds it annoying can simply be told to stay away from where they don't feel welcome.

It isn't a trivial matter: if a massive uproar ever breaks out regarding some cleverly worded thread, it won't matter one bit which specific corner of Reddit it started in—it will become a scandal for Reddit itself.

But that’s exactly where you’re getting it wrong. That facility people talk about is actually over in Queens. This place in Brooklyn is totally fine—and honestly, speaking as someone who lives here, the real wild characters are out on the streets, not inside the building. 😁

Man, it's funny how people from those tiny fringe groups always end up whining about being bullied or insulted by the majority. Even though calling someone a total moron doesn't count as an insult coming from them. At least, not in my book.

Since my previous post has reached its limit, I will simply add this: if those who identify as gay believe their lifestyle is acceptable—and they are certainly granted the platform to express such views—
then it follows that we must also provide space for those who maintain that being gay is not okay. 🙂

Look, I guess most moderators have actual jobs in the real world—they’re probably out there hustling on the side just to cover their bills or pick up some snacks... so sometimes nobody's around, and honestly, a forum that "runs so smoothly" doesn't exactly scream "aggressive moderation"... —I'll keep an eye on things, old school style!

People poked fun at everyone—from the local celebrities and Princess Diana to Chuck Norris, Shrek, and various politicians—even the straight crowd got teased, so I don't really see why the gay community should be any different
