Hey everyone... I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so I figured I'd just drop it here.
So, I’ve got this old pack of cigarettes—it's been sitting around forever, still unopened. On the bottom of both sides, it says Federal Trade Commission, and there's a checkerboard pattern at the top with a "U" inside a circle, plus the initials FTC right above it.
The sides indicate it's a 20-count pack and lists a price of 24 dollars. I have a feeling—though I could be totally off base here—that this might actually date back to the Nazi Germany era, given how the currency was handled between 1941 and 1945.

Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone here knows anything about this 😕 because my searches online haven't turned up anything even remotely similar.

Here’s a photo—it’s a bit blurry, I guess, 🙂

Looking at this, I'm pretty certain we're looking at those old-school cigarettes from a small town in the Midwest back during the era of Nazi Germany—the packaging is definitely smaller because they didn't use filters back then, so the sticks were just shorter overall.
I can't quite wrap my head around all the specific brand names from that period, but I know there was stuff like Mississippi River, Appalachian Mountains,
Rio Grande, and so on.

I actually have one of those cigarette boxes myself from my time in the Appalachian Mountains

I've searched all over the internet, but there's absolutely nothing available about these specific cigarettes...
