I’m way more into Hladno Pivo because they actually have some legendary tracks in their catalog—stuff like "Ne volim te" or "Buba švabe"—plus their newer stuff, like "Nije sve tako sivo," isn't half bad either.
TBF can write decent lyrics, but man, seeing them live is just a slog. I caught them at some festival once and was basically counting the minutes until they finally hopped off stage. Honestly, Elemental is much more interesting than them if you ask me.

And I definitely don't buy the hype that they're the top tier local bands; I'd take Mother or General Danger over them any day. Plus, Marquis put out an absolute killer album.

Edward Davis11 said:Some of the best American urban bands, both are seriously great. I was just wondering which one you guys prefer. both released an album recently and both are awesome. I'm curious which of those two you think hits harder and why. Personally, I'd go with TBF, but what about you all?

Ahem!!

Oh man, comparing Cold War Kids to TBF? You have to be kidding me!! Starting a thread like this without any actual criteria or real purpose... I mean, what the hell?!

It’s a bit of an apples-to-oranges comparison since they aren't really in the same league
If you want a fair fight, compare TBF to Connect; in that matchup, TBF absolutely clears

Actually, I’d say it's some people's brains that have nothing to do with brains🙂

TBF beats a cold beer any day, but Kekin definitely runs circles around Badovinac☕
Badovinac, you're still alright too, don't sweat it ☕

You can't even begin to compare them...
It's like trying to weigh Britney Spears against Iron Maiden..

Personally, I’m down for both, just depends on my mood at the moment.

Neither side is worth anything anymore. They’ve both become totally lightweight—kind of like reading some mediocre paperback or sipping on a lukewarm hard seltzer.

money money must be funny

I used to listen to HP back during the Đinovski and gad era.. What they've turned into now is honestly pretty grim. I had some respect for TBF before they pivoted from "colorful art" to basically just running beer commercials...

Well, hello reality!! I suppose that’s just how things work these days, unfortunately.

but I have to point out that the first TBF record is actually a seriously high-quality album.

Yeah. We’ve given it enough time and finally reached a consensus—they've basically become nothing more than background noise, whereas Justin Bieber actually holds up better. So, I guess it's time to let this thread retire gracefully.
