Partial ban on the teens?

Since moderator rapidhawk22 hasn't bothered to reply to my DMs for two days now for reasons known only to her, I guess I’ll just post this here and hope she actually sees it.

So, I ended up getting a partial ban on the teen boards yesterday because apparently, I’ve been "repeatedly trolling, spamming, going off-topic, and disrespecting moderators."

The thing is, how on earth can anyone claim I've been doing this "repeatedly" when, in the nearly two years I've spent on these forums, nothing like this has ever happened until a few days ago. I'll be the first to admit I might have gone a little overboard with the spam over the last week or two—and honestly, my spam isn't even that intense; if everyone got partial bans for this kind of stuff, these subforums would be ghost towns by now, though maybe I'm just being dramatic 🤷—but if you can label a single week of behavior as "repeated," then I'm completely at a loss.

And then there's this whole "disrespecting moderators" nonsense. Is this about that stupid argument in the chat back when I got that seven-day ban or whatever? Because since then, and even before that, I haven't said a single word against the mods, let alone disrespected them.

The chat is pretty much the only place I even post on this site, and I know for a fact I haven't been constantly breaking all those rules they listed.

If I really did go too far with the spamming and the off-topic posts, shouldn't I have been given a warning or a short 3-day or 7-day ban first instead of jumping straight to partial bans? It doesn't seem like that's how things are handled everywhere else on the site. 🤷

It would be nice to get some actual clarity on this. Maybe I'm just imagining things. Who knows.

In order to issue a partial ban, the consent of all subforum moderators is required, which means rapidhawk22 is just as responsible for this decision as I am (though she was the one who sent out the notification). Furthermore, I find myself in complete agreement with all the reasons provided.

Aha, so why? When exactly was I out there trolling or spamming nonstop? Or when did I actually ignore the moderators?
Why don't you just take that same energy and apply it to all the actual spammers on this sub?
There are at least two people here who deserve three times that much attention.
rapidhawk22 says we aren't allowed to comment on moderation, yet they won't even touch the other people who are criticizing the mods for the exact same things that got me slapped with a seven-day ban.

You didn't just push back against the moderators; you went out of your way to be provocative even after I warned you multiple times. That’s exactly why you ended up banned, much like several others did.

You haven't exactly shown respect for the moderation team, especially considering how often you chime in whenever a thread is locked or someone receives a warning or a ban.

You were slapped with a seven-day ban because you kept engaging in trolling and spamming.

Furthermore, since you don't have access to the disciplinary records of other users, you have no basis to claim whether they've been punished or not, nor can you sit in judgment regarding what constitutes material for a partial ban.

silentsailor5 and I are in complete agreement regarding the partial bans, and I suspect his stance won't be shifting anytime soon either.

Yeah, I am, and honestly, I earned it, so I’m not even going to sit here and complain about it.

rapidhawk22 I can't even begin to deal with this nonsense right now because honestly, I'm just too exhausted by how much everyone seems to misunderstand the simplest things about how life actually works here in America.
You haven't exactly been playing by the rules when it comes to following moderator directions, especially whenever you decide to chime in about locked threads, warnings, or bans.

Honestly, I couldn't care less which topics get shut down or who ends up getting banned around here. All I ever cared about was the chat, and that’s really all there is to it.
I ended up wandering all over the other subreddits last night while I was trying to refresh everything on the front page, and honestly, most of the posts were actually relevant for once.
Can you actually explain to me why I'm being hit with all these accusations of spamming and trolling and whatever other nonsense they've thrown in my face?
Go find me—or better yet, have the moderators dig up—that massive pile of posts from before this week that were nothing but pure trolling and off-topic garbage.

I honestly can't tell if they're just here for the partial payouts or what, but it’s pretty obvious that this whole subforum is being dragged down by those people who jump in every couple of days to start drama over some random pictures, so I seriously doubt they're even getting paid.
She’s just as much of a fraud. I really shouldn't even have to spell out everything she’s pulled, especially when she’s still out there acting like she can run wild through our high schools without anyone noticing.
Since when did I suddenly become the bigger problem in this situation compared to her?
