Look, I'm really interested in genetics and history, and everything was going fine on those boards until this new moderator showed up. To be honest, he and I actually crossed paths in a discussion before he ever got a mod badge, and back then, he wasn't exactly a heavy hitter when it came to actual knowledge. Maybe he knows his stuff regarding specific niches he follows, but I have no idea what those are—maybe Civil War debates, or certain political eras, who knows...

But now, suddenly, he’s everywhere, acting like he's an expert on everything. I see him jumping into discussions and even military history threads... I've never seen a transformation quite like it. If you took away his moderator status, he probably wouldn't be active anywhere, just like before. At the end of the day, one person can't be an expert in every single field, including genetics... that's just common sense.

And we're supposed to follow this guy through PDF-based history lessons? It reminds me of when I was getting hit with warnings constantly because of my own blind spots regarding certain ethnic groups—specifically when I was discussing the origins of people who eventually became part of the larger regional population. I kept getting flagged, and why? Because he, along with several others here, doesn't actually know the deep history of our country. Once I started backing up my claims with solid, primary sources, the warnings stopped. Before that, I was basically oblivious to those nuances, and everyone on the forum knew it. I used to complain about those penalties, but even the admins didn't step in. He should have been the one teaching me if he actually understood history, but instead, his own lack of knowledge is exactly why I was getting penalized in the first place.
