My thread got locked in the expat forum

My thread got shut down, even though it actually started off on a pretty good note. I was genuinely curious to see what other expats living abroad had to say about it.

Of course, the mods—who aren't expats themselves and frankly have ZERO clue how we think—just nuked the thread without giving a single reason...

We’ve got endless threads full of half-baked chatter and the same old repetitive nonsense floating around here. I don't see why this one specifically had to be killed.

You’re claiming there are these three specific categories of the diaspora, but honestly, the way you broke them down felt a little surface-level and didn't really hold much weight... then you get one person agreeing, someone else pushing back, and by the fourth post, the whole thread just devolves into mindless chatter and spam. I mean, don't get me wrong, the topic itself is absolutely massive and worth diving into, but...
