Intel is trash...

I’m stuck trying to figure out if my VGA cable is shot or if the monitor itself is just dead. I don't actually have a spare cable lying around because I gave my last one to my neighbor along with an old IBM CRT. I already tried swapping out the power cord for the monitor, but that didn't fix anything. The PC works perfectly fine at my buddy's place and even at my neighbor's house. Now, I just hooked up this dusty old 17" CRT set to a 1024x768 resolution—this one has a built-in VGA cable—and everything works fine. So yeah, it's definitely the monitor. I'm taking it back to the store for a refund tomorrow.

Man, before you kicked this thread off, I hadn't even realized Intel was still in the game, and now suddenly I’m hearing rumors about VGA cables being back in the conversation too. 😁

Yeah, yeah, I’d probably ask you all what you’d do if you were in my shoes... but honestly, I kind of earned this one...
