So, "The Elite Squad" is this brand new action flick starring an absolute powerhouse lineup including Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Yvonne Strahovski, Robert De Niro, and Dominic Purcell.

The whole movie is actually based on that 1991 book "The Feather Men" written by sir Ranulph Fiennes, and it's being directed by Gary McKendry.

And get this—sir Ranulph Fiennes' book is supposed to be inspired by some real-life events involving a string of killings targeting members of the US Army Special Forces, all carried out by this shadowy group known as "The Clinic."

Honestly, I really think this could turn out to be one heck of a solid action flick, at least if you ask me!

..honestly, the cast they’ve pulled together for this kind of flick is absolutely killer, so I’m definitely expecting big things from this one..

Looks almost too good to be true—honestly, I’ve never been much of a fan of Clive Owen, but hey, he’s playing the villain here, so he’ll probably end up taking a bullet anyway 😁

The movie was alright—nothing to write home about, but definitely decent enough...

Honestly, I was expecting a lot more from this one... maybe a solid 6/10 at best.

Right now, all I'm seeing on the torrent sites are those crappy TS and Cam rips, so honestly, I think I'll just hold out for something actually watchable once the first MPEG version finally drops.

Jason Statham is here; we’re just missing Christian Bale.

This piece really caught me off guard in the best way possible!

It’s just pure action in the classic sense—none of that over-the-top stuff or all those modern digital effects you see everywhere now...

What I loved most was the 80s setting... tons of vintage cars, and zero cell phones, gadgets, or lap fucking tops.👍

Clive Owen is solid, Jason Statham is okay, I guess... and Robert De Niro is definitely better than he's been in most of his recent movies.

All in all, pretty successful!!

So, I ended up downloading this MPEG rip yesterday—nothing special, really. Honestly, I was expecting something way more high-quality than what I actually got. To make matters worse, Robert De Niro just didn't feel believable at all; I walked away with this nagging impression that he just phoned it in purely to collect a paycheck and call it a day.

Pretty interesting cast, though I can't say I'm really feeling Robert De Niro lately. He just doesn't guarantee quality for me anymore.

I find myself agreeing. Statham seems to have an almost impossible amount of luck whenever he's running for his life, especially during that final leap through the window.

My rating would be a 9/10.

Man, I just finished watching that Statham movie and let me tell you, it was absolutely killer.

I honestly wasn't expecting it to hit this hard, so I'm seriously pleasantly surprised here. Between the soundtrack, the pacing, and all that intense action... I'd say this might actually be one of his best films yet.

Pretty great... honestly, my favorite part of the whole movie was Dominic Purcell.
