I’m honestly starting to panic—will I just fall asleep or end up getting wasted waiting for Nevermore to hit the stage? 😁 I’m really not all that big of a fan of the other bands on this lineup. 🤷

If they aren't the headliners, my legs are going to be absolutely shot from standing through those opening acts. I can still feel the phantom pain in my feet when I think back to that Korpiklaaan show at Boogaloo—I barely made it through the night because the openers were so incredibly dull.

Man, some guy would probably be writing a whole sob story right now, whining about the metalheads... just sitting at the bar all day venting... pfff😂, back in 2005, I missed the first opening act, but the second one? Total damn thrashers with those little death metal vibes—Dew-scented. It was freaking phenomenal!
Edit-just checked my old ticket, looks like Mercenary played first.

Thaurorod, Mercenary, Psychotic Waltz - 🙂 Honestly, what a total snooze fest. And don't even get me started on the drinks; I couldn't even enjoy a beer because the Budweiser tasted absolutely revolting.

Nevermore 🙏 🙏 🙏 Seriously, thanks a lot for the timing on that, because everything just lined up perfectly and the show was nothing short of legendary. 🙏 The sound quality was spot on, Warrel was in peak vocal form (I mean, seriously, how much power can one guy actually belt out? 🙏), and Loomis was his usual self—surgical precision with that deadpan expression like he’s just casually playing the most difficult riffs ever conceived. 🙏 Dagna 😍

In all honesty, I can't even find the right words to describe how phenomenal that whole experience was. 😁

If you weren't there, you missed out big time for the rest of your life. 😛 Or, well, at least you did if you happen to wander around these parts again next time.

I didn't even catch Symphony X. I was completely wiped out before Nevermore even hit the stage—caught some nasty bug, stayed up until 5 AM, and then still had to drive 93 miles back home, so I just headed out.

Not even close. Psychotic Waltz was practically criminal—as in, legitimately intense. I had a buddy who nearly threw himself off a balcony just out of pure frustration and boredom. Honestly, Mercenary left me feeling pretty let down, and at the start, I could barely even stomach listening to them.
Nevermore absolutely crushed it, and it’s such a damn shame they have to stick to a setlist because this whole thing feels way too short. Same goes for Symphony X—I mean, Romeo is a genuine guitar maestro, isn't he? 🙏🙏🙏
Good atmosphere, though—lots of our crowd popping up; you can spot them easily since they're always pulling out cigarettes despite it being strictly non-smoking... but hey, that's how it goes.

I didn't end up going because, honestly, I'm not like some die-hard superfan or anything... just a total loser 🙄
Looks like it was a blast, though—now I'll just go cry in a corner out of pure misery and FOMO 🙂
