Hey there.

So, I was wondering if anyone here actually knows what the best gear is for tracking stuff.

It’s a long story and I really don't want to bore you all with the details right now.

Basically, I'm looking for some kind of small, discreet tracker—something tiny enough to hide inside an object—so I can keep tabs on where it moves.

Honestly, your best bet is just to hire a private investigator.
There's a whole long explanation as to why that's the smartest move, but I won't drag you through it.

Man, you're a real genius, aren't you? Giving out answers like that.
What are you even talking about? You don't have a clue what's actually going on here. Maybe the kid just fell in with a bad crowd, which is probably why the parent is asking in the first place.

Or maybe we're talking about an elderly person who keeps wandering off.

Look, it doesn't matter to me what his intentions are—if he asked me, I’d be more than happy to help him out.

Well, I’m honestly not quite sure if this hits the mark—it feels like there might be something similar to what we discussed right here

I have a feeling these might actually be the real deal

There's also something somewhat comparable over here

And what exactly is wrong with my response? It's the best anyone could do. Anything else is just amateur hour.
