Move this if needed
Just snagged that $5 voucher from DraftKings
And ended up with $135
Can I actually cash this out now—what's the deal with the process?
If anyone knows...

Colleagues, I am wondering if a site like BetMGM has a specific daily limit on how much money one can deposit or withdraw from an account?

Additionally, does anyone happen to know if betting sites charge any fees when transferring a payout to PayPal, or when depositing via PayPal?

Alright, I’ve got a few things I need to clear up, so if anyone could shed some light on this, I’d really appreciate it.
1. Is it actually legal to bet online with foreign bookmakers here in the States? I’m pretty sure it is, but then I stumble across a few threads online that make it sound like a total gray area...
2. Which online sportsbook is actually the best? I'm mostly looking at things like the odds, how smooth the mobile app is, and the sign-up bonuses—though having an easy-to-use interface in English is a nice perk, even if it's not my top priority.
3. What’s the most reliable way to handle deposits and withdrawals? It seems like most of them support PayPal, which I'm assuming makes it the easiest way to go.

If you have a total of $15 at odds of 1.5 or higher, you should be good to withdraw.
If you’ve been depositing into BetOnline, you can just use that same method to pull your funds out; otherwise, you'll have to go through a bank transfer.

swiftlynx34 said:Hey guys, does anyone know if Bet365 has a daily limit on how much cash you can deposit or withdraw from your account?

Also, does anyone happen to know if sportsbooks charge any fees when using Neteller for deposits or withdrawals?

It's $10,000 per transaction, though if you have more than that, you can always request multiple transfers.
I believe that under certain agreements, books pay a fee to PayPal for payouts, but I'm not sure about Neteller. As for deposits, I doubt they'd pay a fee; it makes zero sense for them to cover that.

hollowscout1 said:So, I have a few questions and would really appreciate some clarity.
1. Is online gambling with foreign-based sportsbooks legal here in the US? I suspect it is, but I've seen some posts online suggesting otherwise.
2. Which online sportsbook is actually the best—specifically regarding the odds, mobile app experience, bonuses, and (less importantly) having an English interface?
3. What is the most efficient way to handle deposits and withdrawals? It seems like most support PayPal, which I assume is the best route.

1. The law is pretty vague. Technically, it's illegal, but wouldn't a decent lawyer be able to tear those statutes apart in court if things ever went that far?

2. BetOnline for the bonuses and user experience, but Pinnacle if you're looking for the best odds.

3. Yeah.

I notice about 95% of the people here handle all their deposits and withdrawals through PayPal, which makes me wonder about how their reward points program actually works.
How many points do you get for every dollar spent?
And what’s the conversion rate if I want to redeem them for actual cash?

I personally run all my transactions through Neteller. To be honest, I hadn't even bothered checking or paying any attention to the accumulated points until a few days ago. Out of sheer boredom one afternoon, I decided to take a look at my rewards balance, and I was pleasantly surprised.
I had managed to rack up quite a significant amount of points, so I redeemed them for cash, and the funds were promptly credited to my account.

After reviewing my transaction history to see how those points were earned, I've become much more interested in maximizing them—it’s definitely worth the effort. You earn points on basically every single transaction, so it adds up faster than you'd think.

Now, here is a thought: how would the sportsbooks react if I were to transfer a larger sum to my account several times a day, place some small bets, and then immediately request a withdrawal?

I believe it’s one point for every dollar... You need about 50,000 points just to scrape together $100 in cash. They run promotions occasionally where you get double points per dollar, sometimes even more—up to five times the rate, I think...

Every sportsbook has its own specific withdrawal terms, so you really ought to check their fine print for the details.

Don't go getting ahead of yourself with such modesty. Suppose you were to clear out your balances from every sportsbook in the evening and then deposit roughly the same amount back into them the following morning?
I can guarantee you won't run into any trouble with that specific move, though as for anything else, I certainly wouldn't stake my reputation on it.

I signed up for Pinnacle and made a deposit, but honestly, the whole site just left me staring in disbelief. I don't really get how they even structure their betting slips. Like, looking at the handball markets today—how do they not even offer a double chance option? Plus, the odds feel pretty underwhelming compared to what you'd find at DraftKings.

In that case, PayPal sounds incredibly generous...

Look, you should've checked if they actually let you withdraw your winnings the way you wanted first. PINN sticks to the basics: Over/Under on goals and halves, Totals, and Asian Handicaps. Don't go expecting anything fancy.
After using them for a while, I'd say their match selection isn't great, and they don't cover as many leagues or sports as most others out there. But you gotta remember—this is a bookie built for high rollers.
If you're planning on betting like ten bucks a pop, this place is a waste of your time.

Hey there, just a quick question for the group. What’s the current deal with the bet365 first deposit bonus? I remember when I signed up a few years back—right when I turned 18—it wasn't really an option; they technically had one, but it didn't apply to anyone living in the USA. I'm curious if they've finally rolled it out now that we're more integrated with the EU, or if those regulations have anything to do with it.

Skrill just isn't as tempting as it used to be—honestly, PayPal is much better when it comes to reward points. Skrill doesn't offer those 2x, 3x, or 5x point multipliers anymore, and they likely won't anytime soon since they haven't run any promotions in the 7 or 8 months since being acquired. Meanwhile, PayPal gives you points for every single deposit and withdrawal you make from a sportsbook.
Regarding daily deposits and withdrawals for point farming, I don't think that strategy works much anymore—why would it? Sportsbooks only make about 2-3% on incoming funds and lose another 1% when paying out via PayPal, so they're bleeding money! Almost every book has tightened the screws on frequent transactions; even Pinnacle has implemented a 5x minimum turnover requirement. You might manage to proc it once or twice in a short window, but after that, most books will probably send you a notice saying they'll charge you for it in the future—especially since nearly everyone requires at least a 1x turnover on deposited funds now.
Bet365 has a $10,000 maximum withdrawal limit, but you can easily process a few large payouts at once and they'll clear them within 24 hours. Also, they haven't offered a first deposit bonus for Americans for quite some time—and as of a month ago, they’ve added a second layer to account verification. It’s not just an ID anymore; now you have to enter a code from a physical letter or complete a phone call.

What kind of code is DraftKings looking for?
I received a letter about three or four years ago, but I haven't heard anything since then...

I got a letter about three or four years ago—nothing since then!

That’s exactly the letter you mean—but I’m talking about all the brand-new accounts! For my last four accounts over the past few months, I've had to verify everything with an ID... though they never actually send the letter on their own! I have to ask them to resend it after seven days, and then it finally shows up about a week later.

The thing is, they never seem to send the letter proactively; I always have to follow up after seven days to request a resend, and even then, it takes another week or ten days to actually arrive.

So far, they haven't asked me to complete verification using that code...

Has anyone here actually used DraftKings before? I’m trying to get a feel for what the deal is—like, how's the variety of games, the odds, depositing money, getting paid out, the bonuses... all that good stuff.
I've been doing a bit of digging online, and based on most of the reviews I've stumbled across, I was thinking it might be a decent enough starting point for someone just getting into online betting...

Alexander Kern6 said:Skrill isn't nearly as enticing as they used to be. Honestly, PayPal is much better when it comes to those reward points. Skrill has completely axed those 2x, 3x, or 5x point multipliers... and I doubt they're coming back. Ever since they were acquired about seven or eight months ago, the promotions have just vanished. Meanwhile, PayPal keeps handing out points for every single deposit and withdrawal you make at the sportsbook.

I don't really use PayPal myself, so I'm not entirely following the logic on why the reward points are supposedly better there.
Skrill offers a 0.2% refund (that's $100 for every 50,000 points/$), whereas PayPal only gives 0.065% (which works out to $100 for every 153,500 points) via this link: https://rewards.neteller.com

Do I need to be a VIP PayPal member to access anything better, or is there some other way?...

I've been doing a bit of digging online and, based on what I've read, it seems like a pretty solid starting point for someone just getting into online betting..

If you're planning to stick to small stakes—say, $5 to $10 per bet—then they're fantastic!🙂But honestly, they haven't really been letting Americans play much for almost a year and a half now—it's such a shame because they used to be one of the top-tier sites—but apparently, since American players hit them for a massive amount of money, they decided to just limit us all...🙂

If you opened an account within the last month, they'll likely demand it during withdrawal—at least, that’s been my experience with my last four accounts, and I know a few buddies who ran into the exact same thing!

I can't even begin to wrap my head around how some people operate these days. It’s like common sense just went out the window overnight. You see it everywhere you look, from the way people handle basic tasks to the complete lack of accountability in almost every major institution we have here in the States. Honestly, it’s exhausting just trying to navigate a world where nobody seems to care about doing things the right way anymore... kaže:
If you’re planning on keeping your bets around $5 or $10 a pop, then honestly, they’re pretty solid...🙂It’s honestly pathetic how they’ve been blocking American players for almost a year and a half now. This used to be one of the absolute best online sportsbooks out there—hands down one of my favorites—but apparently, because a few guys from the States hit some massive wins, the higher-ups decided to throw a tantrum. They basically blacklisted us because we actually knew how to play. Now, instead of being treated like customers, we're just limited and pushed aside because they couldn't handle losing a decent chunk of change...🙂

Is there actually a hard cap on this? I wasn't planning on dropping a ton of cash anyway—maybe around $25 or so. I'm just wondering if they have any specific limits on withdrawals...
Does anyone actually have a decent sportsbook recommendation left, or am I just wasting my time looking?
