True, but honestly? I'm not even tripping about the lack of daily offers. If they aren't scheduling specific sports per day, I'd rather just stick to South Sudan.

Look, if we're actually serious about betting, we should switch over. American books offer much better odds and they don't tack on that 5% margin which ends up being closer to 10-15% per parlay. That adds up...

Hopefully won't be necessary, but thanks for the offer

If the options were laid out the same way they are here, I'd have jumped ship already.😢

I'm trying to pull some winnings out of my sportsbook using PayPal. My Bwin account and my PayPal are both set up in USD, but I need to know if I can just send it straight to my checking account, or if I’ll need to open a foreign currency account first. What currencies am I looking at here?🤷

Man, I’m a little late to the party here, but hey, better late than never, right?

Check this place out. You can find reviews😉 for tons of online sportsbooks along with a mountain of info regarding them—stuff like deposit and withdrawal methods, potential red flags to watch out for, and all that good stuff.

Jonathan Hill3 said:I really want to pull some cash out of my sportsbook using PayPal! I've got funds in Bwin in USD and my PayPal is also in USD, so the big question is, can I transfer directly from PayPal to my checking account, or do I need to open a separate foreign currency account, and if so, what currencies should I be looking at?🤷

I mean, I know you can move money from a standard checking account over to PayPal, so I'd assume it works just as easily the other way around. My only gripe is that they can be pretty slow sometimes. Last time I messed around with it about a year ago, it took me like a whole week to get everything moved from my Federal Reserve account...

Hmm, from what I gather, does Pinnacle let you deposit using Visa, but doesn't offer withdrawals back to the same card?

A week isn't even that bad, honestly. Usually, when I'm waiting for stuff to hit my JP Morgan Chase foreign currency card, it takes maybe 4 or 5 days max.🤷

Hey, can someone give me the lowdown on online betting?!!
Specifically, I'm wondering—is it actually better to bet online or just head down to a local sportsbook and place a bet in person?
I haven't really messed around with online betting yet, but I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth the hassle.😁

With online sportsbooks, you don't have to deal with all those hidden fees or shady margins, so it’s definitely the better way to go. Plus, you can just top up your account whenever the mood strikes!

Given my extensive history working alongside major online sportsbooks, and observing that many people still haven't quite grasped the sheer advantages they offer, I have decided to set aside some time to outline the premier online platforms—those catering to tens of millions of users—while detailing their specific bonuses and individual strengths.

It seems to me that awareness regarding internet-based wagering within the US has surged significantly in recent months. Every day, an increasing number of individuals turn to online platforms, and the benefits are, frankly, numerous. For instance, there is the simple convenience of placing bets without having to physically visit a shop and wait in line, combined with 24/7 availability which allows you to submit a slip whenever the mood strikes; furthermore, should your wager hit, the winnings are credited immediately to your account, where they can be withdrawn via various methods or kept for further play, all without the nagging anxiety of losing a physical ticket.

Additionally, one cannot overlook the essential advantage of live betting, where one can wager on virtually anything that comes to mind from the opening whistle to the final second—excluding basic 1X2, over/under totals, or handicaps, of course, though options like corner counts, yellow cards, offsides, or which team will lead in specific stats are all on the table... among many others.

Regarding the security of the top-tier online bookmakers mentioned in this thread, I find the discussion almost redundant, given that these establishments boast more users than the entire population of the US, which should speak volumes about their reliability. For example, DraftKings maintains a user base exceeding 20 million, and other major players are not far behind in scale. Naturally, these industry leaders serve as primary sponsors for renowned clubs and major leagues.

Beyond these perks, leading online sites provide incentives for newcomers, and occasionally even for veteran users, such that a newly registered member might receive a bonus equal to, say, 100% of their initial deposit up to $30. To put it simply, if you register and deposit $30 into your sportsbook account, the house adds another $30 as a bonus, leaving you with $60 to play with, despite having only committed $30.

An overview of the premier online sportsbooks:

1.) DraftKings

DraftKings stands as a dominant force in the online wagering space, boasting over 20 million members to date. They act as major sponsors for elite football clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich... and, of course, their reach extends to sponsoring the Spanish La Liga, the Portuguese league, MotoGP, and FIBE...

DraftKings offers an excellently designed interface in American English making it incredibly easy to navigate the offerings and assemble your slips. Furthermore, they possess a brilliantly structured interface for live betting; during a typical weekend, they may feature over 200 simultaneous matches, with at least 15 different betting options available for every single one. Since DraftKings is a market leader and a primary sponsor for numerous leagues, any client with an active account can enjoy free access to streams for La Liga, the Bundesliga, Serie A, and various Portuguese and Austrian leagues alike. Unlike other web streams, these broadcasts do not lag by even a second, because if they did, live betting would lose its entire purpose. Thus, you can watch the world's top leagues entirely for free and place your bets at any moment you desire.

image

In addition to a vast selection where DraftKings offers over 30,000 betting options daily..., you have access to some rather intriguing betting markets that aren't even available at most other online sportsbooks, such as the number of yellow cards, total corners, who will receive more yellows, corner counts, or head-to-head corner totals... They offer an incredible variety of sports and deep market depth...
For instance, during a matchup like Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, DraftKings offered no fewer than 323 different "markets" to choose from, ranging from standard 1X2 odds to those specific prop bets, goalscorers, card recipients, team substitutions, total substitutions, fouls, and so on...
image

DraftKings recently rolled out their b'inside loyalty program, which essentially means every user accumulates points by placing bets, playing poker, hitting the casino, or engaging in other games; these points can be redeemed at any time for actual cash to use for wagering, or perhaps for physical items—once you've gathered enough, you might order a PlayStation 3, various brands of LCD televisions in different sizes, assorted sportswear, or entries into poker tournaments. On top of all that, DraftKings regularly offers its loyal members the chance to trade points for sweepstakes where prizes include $1,000 or $10,000, and occasionally even experiences like meeting players from Real Madrid, staying at a luxury hotel, or attending El Clásico (though they do have similar arrangements for other matches and events)...
DraftKings also knows how to treat its most dedicated players with bonuses on various occasions, such as doubling your next deposit up to a certain limit🙂, or perhaps sending a little something for your birthday...

In addition to everything mentioned, DraftKings provides a welcome bonus for new users of 100% on their first deposit up to $30. So, if you deposit, say, $30, you’ll get an extra $30, leaving you with $60 in your account. Naturally, if you deposit a smaller amount, like $20, that amount will be doubled as well...

2.) http://svijetkladjenja.com/osnove-online-kladenja/bet365/';]Bet365

Bet365 is one of the premier online sportsbooks, having been in operation since 1974, and it ranks among the top 20 largest private companies in the United States. With a workforce of over 1,000 employees, it stands as one of the leading American bookmakers. They provide customer service available 24/7, which you can reach through just about any channel imaginable, including email, fax, phone, or live chat...

Bet365 also boasts an incredibly rich selection and a very well-designed interface for live betting. Their offerings include a massive array of events with extensive prop markets, and much like DraftKings, they provide live streaming for various matches...
The Bet365 sportsbook is particularly interesting because, beyond its deep selection and competitive odds, it allows users to manually adjust margins on basketball, handball, and other sports. For example, if a basketball handicap is set at 9.5 (with odds of 1.90-1.90) and you want to back the favorite but at a tighter spread, you can select a different handicap, such as 5.5, and bet that the favorite wins by more than 6 points (at 1.50 odds), rather than sticking to the "main handicap" of 9.5. Of course, the odds won't be quite the same as playing the 9.5 line, but this is often a very shrewd move, especially when playing with slightly larger stakes...

Bet365 offers new users a bonus of up to $100, which is among the largest welcome bonuses provided by serious online sportsbooks...

All you need to do is open an account and make your initial deposit. Bet365 will double your first deposit up to $100. To put it simply, if you register and deposit $100, you’ll find $200 in your account. If you deposit a smaller amount, like $30 or $45, you’ll end up with $60 or $90 respectively...

image

Once you’ve finished your registration, check your inbox for an email containing a 10-digit alphanumeric code ending in NCDBS... To claim your bonus, simply make a deposit and then navigate to the "Members Area" on the Bet365 site, where you can input that code into the "Enter Offer Code" field.

Beyond the standard sportsbook promotions, Bet365 offers incentives for other games as well, providing new poker players with bonuses reaching up to $500, while their casino offerings include bonuses of up to $100... So, in addition to the sportsbook bonus—where depositing $100 earns you another $100—Bet365 also gives you the option to deposit $100 into the Bet365 casino to receive $200 (or if you deposit something smaller, say $40, you'll see $80 added to your Bet365 casino wallet).

The logic remains the same for poker, though the incentive is even more substantial, as Bet365 will actually double your initial deposit on your Bet365 poker account up to a total of $500... which means if you deposit $500, you'll find yourself sitting with $1,000 ready for online poker against other players.

3.) http://svijetkladjenja.com/osnove-online-kladenja/unibet/';]Unibet

Unibet stands as one of the premier online sportsbooks, having established its foundation back in 1997. While they maintain a formal registration in Malta to take advantage of various tax efficiencies, they are also registered in the United Kingdom, which serves as the primary hub for most of their operations. The Unibet Group is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, boasting a massive user base of approximately 3,000,000 members spanning nearly every corner of the globe...

The platform offers support in about 15 different languages, including American English. Their customer service department handles inquiries in several languages, allowing you to reach out via email or phone quite easily. They tend to be very polite and respond to queries with reasonable speed. The selection of markets is extensive, paired with solid odds. Furthermore, they offer a wide array of daily live betting events, alongside a casino, sweepstakes, poker, and various other games that can be played for entertainment or real money—including poker tournaments where you can test your skills against actual players...

Unibet frequently provides risk-free bets on various sports, a perk you won't encounter very often elsewhere. For instance, you might receive an email looking something like this:

We are offering you a 100% risk-free live bet up to $33 on UEFA Champions League matches!
If your bet doesn't hit, we will refund 100% of your stake; if you win, you keep everything! Good luck!

Essentially, you could comfortably place $33 at odds of 1.50 if that's your preference, or perhaps you’d rather gamble on a draw or some underdog at 10.00 odds... If the bet lands, your winnings are deposited into your sportsbook account immediately after the match concludes; however, if it fails, the amount of $33 (or whatever smaller amount you actually wagered) is returned to your account within 24 hours, effectively treating the outcome as if the odds were 1.00. In these specific promotions, you truly cannot lose...

One might wonder where the catch lies or how such a thing is financially viable, but the reality is that there isn't one. The competition among online sportsbooks is fierce, and every operator employs unique strategies to retain existing users and attract new ones. For major online gaming corporations generating billions of dollars in annual profit, these types of promotions aren't a significant drain; rather, they serve as highly effective marketing tools...

In addition to this, Unibet often pairs their UEFA Champions League coverage with secondary promotions such as:

At first glance, this particular offer might not seem all that enticing, yet there are scenarios where it becomes quite compelling. For example, during the knockout stages when matches are expected to be defensive struggles with few goals, backing the home team can be a rational move—especially if you aren't certain they will score, but you are reasonably sure the visitors won't. In such a situation, you essentially have two outcomes: either the match ends in a 0-0 draw and your stake is refunded (which can involve significant sums...), or the home team wins 1-0 or perhaps 2-0. A perfect historical example from the last five years might be a matchup between Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC, teams that have crossed paths frequently in both the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League...

On top of all that, Unibet provides a 100% deposit bonus up to $50. This means once you register and deposit $50, you will find yourself with $100 available for wagering...

Registration is free and remarkably straightforward, especially since everything is presented in clear American English, and the only requirement is that you are of legal age. Once the registration process is complete, you carry no obligations toward Unibet (all details are laid out in the Terms and Conditions), and they don't bind you to anything you don't desire, even as you enjoy the numerous benefits of being a user...

4.) http://svijetkladjenja.com/osnove-online-kladenja/sportingbet/';]Sportingbet

Sportingbet is another leading name in the online sportsbook industry. Today, they boast over 4.1 million users and provide a well-designed interface that supports numerous languages, including American English. Their offerings include a vast array of sports and incredibly deep markets for individual matches, which should satisfy even the most demanding bettors. They also feature live betting, allowing you to watch matches and place wagers on winners or specific in-game events in real time. Beyond traditional betting, you can also enjoy poker against real players from the comfort of your home, visit the casino, or engage in virtual games...

They definitely hold a significant edge because their live betting interface is exceptionally polished... The live odds are looking a bit... questionable...I’ve found myself running the numbers and making comparisons quite a few times over the last couple of days... It’s certainly a step up from what you’ll find at some of the other sportsbooks out there...They offer live streaming for a massive selection of matches alongside the in-play betting, which removes any guesswork regarding whether certain combinations are actually permitted—a frustration you often run into with other sportsbooks... Another significant advantage lies in their proprietary skiing matchups, which they curate themselves; it’s quite refreshing to see unique pairings that don't just mirror the identical matchups and nearly identical odds found at every other bookie on the market...
On Saturdays, you can get in on the live action right up until the final whistle for nearly every game we cover here on the boards, and naturally, there's the option to stack them into parlays if that's your style...

Much like how bet365 operates, Sportingbet allows you to essentially set your own margins on NBA totals and spreads... if you have the patience for it...

5.) http://svijetkladjenja.com/osnove-online-kladenja/bet-at-home/';]The landscape of betting platforms continues to shift, leaving one wondering if any of these operators can actually maintain a consistent standard... though I suppose that might be asking too much in this industry.

Bet-at-home stands out as one of the more prominent online sportsbooks currently making waves across the States... They’ve invested heavily in localized advertising throughout the US, which clearly pays off given how quickly their user base has been expanding lately. It’s quite common for them to hand out $5 bonuses to celebrate customer birthdays, though they also tend to distribute similar perks during major sporting events or even through various traditional media channels, like seeing those little vouchers pop up in the local newspapers every now and then...

Their interface is remarkably clean, and I find the odds to be quite respectable... As far as live betting goes, they don't overwhelm you with an endless list of obscure events, but they always seem to have the marquee matchups available, often accompanied by a live stream if you're looking to watch while you play...

DraftKings is offering a 50% match on your initial deposit, capped at $22... which is a decent little incentive if you're looking to pad your starting bankroll just a bit...
So, once you’ve finished the registration process and decided to deposit, say, $50, your account balance will reflect $75... essentially giving you that extra $25 bonus right out of the gate. To actually trigger the credit after your deposit hits the sportsbook, you just need to navigate to the "Deposit/Withdrawal" section in the menu, select "Enter Promo Code," and type in the word FIRST... at which point the funds should be credited to your account, assuming everything goes according to plan...

6.) http://svijetkladjenja.com/osnove-online-kladenja/expekt/';]Expect...

The platform supports twenty-four different languages, including American English, of course... Customer support is available around the clock, providing 24/7 assistance whenever you might need it. Much like many other major online sportsbooks on the market, they offer a full suite of options ranging from standard sports betting and casino games to poker, sweepstakes, and bingo... Their odds tend to sit among the highest in the industry, and they frequently provide extensive coverage for domestic American leagues and those niche markets that other books often overlook, all while maintaining a robust selection of top-tier major leagues and basketball... As for the interface itself, it is quite well-designed and remains remarkably intuitive to navigate...

Here is just one instance where DraftKings actually proved themselves to be remarkably fair, even though they weren't under any obligation to be...
Barcelona has secured the title... Expekt.com has already begun processing payouts for those who placed their bets on them to take the championship. Should some improbable miracle occur and Barcelona fails to actually clinch the trophy, we will, of course, honor the winnings for the alternative victor...
Back at the end of January, when we were barely halfway through that 2008/2009 season and Barcelona held a massive lead, Expekt actually made the bold move to pay out millions to everyone betting on them to win the league title... Had they simply parked those funds in a high-yield account for the next four or five months while waiting for Barcelona to mathematically clinch the championship, they would have walked away with even more profit, but instead, they chose to prioritize their clients. A genuinely classy move...

It seems like DraftKings practically rolls out some kind of promotion for its members on a weekly basis, much like how you might see...
European Glory: Place two three-leg parlays and we’ll throw in the third one for free... With the UEFA Champions League right around the corner and the Europa League heating up, there is plenty of action to get lost in...

We are offering a complimentary triple accumulator on upcoming European cup matches... here is how you can take advantage of the offer. Simply place two separate three-fold parlays—any bet type will do—with a minimum stake of $5 per slip and total odds of at least 2.50, specifically targeting UEFA Champions League or Europa League fixtures. By doing so, you will have earned a free three-fold accumulator for those same competitions, provided the new slip carries a minimum $5 stake and odds of 2.50 or higher. And just in case your third parlay doesn't quite pan out, we will refund your stake up to $10, regardless of whether that specific ticket hits or misses...

I’ve always found that having an account with a place like DraftKings is actually quite useful for these specific scenarios... They frequently run promotions where you can put down, say, five bucks on a precise correct score, and if you hit, you get paid out as expected, but if you miss, they simply credit those five dollars right back to your account within 24 hours. It’s essentially risk-free betting. They tend to roll out similar offers for major matchups too, like when it was Barcelona vs. Real Madrid and you could place a single bet up to ten dollars on the moneyline, and if you missed, they’d refund the stake—pretty much the same kind of deal you'd see over at Unibet...

DraftKings also offers new users a risk-free bet setup, meaning if your very first wager doesn't pan out, they'll credit your sportsbook account with the funds, up to a limit of $20. So, if you place that initial bet for $20 and it loses, DraftKings just hands the money back to you...

I appreciate the effort here, I really do, but this is honestly a bit misguided—I mean, sure, bet365, Unibet, and maybe even Expekt are decent enough, but there are at least forty other books that outrank these guys by a mile. The only reason DraftKings and bet@home get any airtime is because they dump massive amounts of cash into marketing and media blitzes. When you actually look at the quality of the service? No one can convince me that DraftKings isn't one of the premier online sportsbooks when you consider their user base is massive—well over 20 million people, which is several times larger than the entire population of the US. Sure, their marketing is aggressive, but my own experience with them has been consistently positive...

I suspect the "top 10" list provided here refers specifically to people betting online within the States. As for some of the books on your list, I actually hold accounts with them, and frankly, I doubt anyone else would find them particularly appealing, given that even I am rarely satisfied and seldom bother playing with them...

Most of these platforms perform quite well in the United Kingdom and similar markets, yet one has to wonder how many of them actually offer an American interface, English-language support, or coverage for the NBA and MLB—leagues that are staples for us, whereas many British or international books don't even carry those events in their offerings...

Betfair is a solid option, and Ladbrokes or William Hill might hold their own to an extent, but in my opinion, they have significant flaws and aren't any better than the likes of DraftKings, bet365, or Unibet...

Look, if you're actually serious about betting larger amounts, stay far away from those European books.
That list with the A+ ratings? It’s actually worth following.
Anything rated below a B is basically trash—that's literally why the ratings exist.
Just because DraftKings is everywhere doesn't mean they're actually good for what you need.
Every book has its niche. For example, everyone knows Pinnacle is the go-to for singles because their lines are unbeatable.
Don't get blinded by some flashy menu or a $30 bonus—they'll just claw it all back through crappy odds anyway.

I am convinced that the online sportsbooks mentioned in that top 10 list are specifically those favored by people betting online in America. Betfair is a solid option, and while Ladbrokes and William Hill are okay, IMO they have plenty of flaws and aren't any better than the ones previously mentioned (DraftKings, bet365, Unibet...).

How does Pinnacle look regarding their odds and coverage for our local leagues?
