Look, I really can't be bothered to go through the whole headache of registering a brand-new email address again—it's been way too long since I first signed up... so please, just do me a solid and check what the actual fine print says regarding those bonus terms.

Oh, yeah, for sure. I just figured you were about to go ahead and sign up, so that’s why I was asking.

dustypanther6 said:That’s completely irrelevant. Just find me a sportsbook where I can get a no-deposit bonus. I don't care if I have to roll it over ten times, just give me the money.

I mean, sure, you might find some sketchy offshore sites with terrible odds and garbage settlement times that offer stuff like that. Trust me, I spent way too much time chasing those crumbs back in the day before I realized it's a total waste of energy.
The only decent thing that’s happened lately—over the last three months or so—is that I snagged a 100% deposit match up to $10 on Expekt 100 and did the same thing over at Bet365. So, I put down $200 and ended up with $400; rolled it through three times and boom, profit.
Expecting any legit sportsbook to just hand you cash without you putting anything on the line is pretty naive, if you ask me.

Quick question for anyone who’s actually withdrawn funds from Bet365... does the account I use for withdrawals need to be a foreign currency account? Or can I just use the standard checking account I used to deposit the money in the first place?🙂

I had to deal with my foreign currency account, or at least that’s how I interpreted things—it seems like the folks over at Bet365 were depositing funds directly onto my credit card, or whatever that specific number refers to, while my bank was essentially moving those funds over to my foreign exchange account. I think that’s how I figured it out during a visit to the bank quite a while ago, though it must have been at least five or six years back, because nowadays I just handle everything through PayPal...

I have a quick question for the veterans here regarding withdrawals from international betting sites. Yesterday, I put in a request to withdraw some funds to my Visa card through Bet-at-home, and sure enough, I woke up this morning to an email asking me to scan or photograph my ID and the actual card I used for my deposits... I’m assuming this is just standard procedure for everyone, but I wanted to check if anyone else has dealt with this before. Is it actually safe to send those documents over? Also, does anyone know if there’s a better way to get paid that avoids this whole verification headache—maybe a direct bank transfer or using Skrill instead?... 🤷

Also, is there any withdrawal method that lets me bypass all this extra verification—something like a direct wire transfer or using Skrill instead? 🤷

So, what exactly are you planning to do with a copy of my ID? For God's sake. That’s such a classic move, isn't it?

Actually, I phrased that poorly. That wasn't quite what I meant... 🤔

What I was really trying to ask is whether they’ll still demand verification if I choose to have my winnings sent directly to my bank account. My driver's license actually expired about three or four weeks ago, and I should have a new one in hand by this week or next. I'm just wondering if anyone here has successfully withdrawn via bank transfer recently and if they ran into the same issue with ID requests. I just want to know if I need to wait until my new ID arrives, or if I can go ahead with the bank transfer without it... 🙂

dustypanther6 said:I fail to see how someone could actually do anything useful with just a copy of my ID; that is a tired old trope, honestly.

Nista, though if they had a copy of a credit card, the situation would be much more precarious.🤔

I'm a little lost here. What exactly could they do if they just have a copy of my credit card? They already have all my card details from when I made the deposit, even without a physical copy... Has anyone else actually sent them photos of their ID or credit cards before?

Are you kidding me?
I mean, let's be real—most of those big international sportsbooks out there are going to demand you upload a scan of your ID, complete with your name and photo, before they even look at you twice. It's just how the game is played.
And what am I supposed to do with that? Who actually needs a scan of someone else's ID, especially if they're just some random person from around here? 🙂

Most international betting sites usually require you to verify your identity by uploading a scan of a government ID that clearly shows your name and photo...
And honestly, what could I even do with that? Who on earth would actually need a scan of someone else's ID, especially someone from around here... 🙂

Man, I already said I didn't mean it like that. I just messed up my wording and totally misspoke... My focus was on the credit card photo, not the ID. Let's just drop the whole ID thing, I really don't care about it right now... 😁

Look, I honestly don't care that they're asking for a photo of my ID... the real issue is that they want a shot of my Visa card showing all those sensitive details too, just to process something like a deposit on Bet-at-home. If I actually send over a picture of my card, someone over there could easily just type my info into their own account or something similar, right?... 🤷

I’ll probably just withdraw to my Skrill account first, then move the funds over to my Chase account. That should be a smooth process if everything goes according to plan, but I’m still curious about that question above regarding credit card chargebacks... It might be a silly thing to ask, or maybe not, who knows. I'm pretty young and haven't dealt with this much, so I'm clearly still learning the ropes... 🤷

Does the email on Bet-at-home have to match my PayPal address if I want to actually get paid?
Since I’m using a different email for Bet-at-home than I do for PayPal, I'm getting nervous. Didn't I read somewhere ages ago that some sites demand the emails match perfectly, otherwise they just block your withdrawal?

Anyway, my actual concern isn't them asking for an ID, it's that they want a photo of a Visa card showing all the necessary details, like when you're trying to make a deposit on Bet-at-home. Basically, if I send a shot of my card, someone over there could pretty much just type my info into their own account or whatever, right? 🤷
I'll probably just withdraw via Skrill and then move it from Skrill to my Visa; that should be fine if I play it smart, but I'm still stuck on that question about the credit card photo. Maybe it's a stupid question, maybe not, who knows. I'm young, inexperienced, and clearly a bit dim, so take it with a grain of salt. 🤷

Alright, chill out, no need to get worked up. ☕
Are you absolutely sure they're asking for a card photo? Because that's straight-up idiocy. Maybe they just want to see the last transaction or something? Bet365 asked me for something similar once.
Whatever the case, don't give it to them. Just cash out to Skrill and then transfer it to your bank or your card and call it a day.
And yeah, Bet-at-home is honestly one of the weaker offshore sites—low odds, crappy interface, and withdrawal headaches...
Check out Marathonbet, Betcity, Bet365, Sbobet, Noridcbet, or Expekt. Depending on what you're betting on, you can find everything there.

Hey everyone.
Look, I know I’m stepping out of line here by dropping this in a thread meant strictly for parlays, but I couldn't find a single decent sub-forum to ask this, so bear with me. Does anyone actually have a solid recommendation for an online sportsbook that isn't a total headache?
I was thinking about dropping ten bucks on Bet365 just to see what happens, but honestly, I’d rather shut up and listen to people who actually know what they're doing before I throw my money away.
I was actually considering Bwin myself, but from what I’m reading, people run into a massive amount of headaches whenever they actually try to get their winnings out.
Bet-at-home's selection is pretty thin, and honestly, their odds are nothing to write home about.
So, the folks over at Bet365 are breathing down my neck for verification, asking for either that specific barcode from the bottom of my passport—you know, those weird little numbers, letters, and arrows—or just a clear shot of both sides of my driver's license. It’s always the same song and dance with these places. I'm sitting here wondering if I'm actually opening a can of worms by handing over that barcode or sending off photos of my ID. Is anyone else dealing with this headache, and more importantly, am I asking for trouble if I just give them what they want?
If anyone actually knows of a better sportsbook out there, please, for the love of god, hit me up with some recommendations.
I’m also wondering about Bet365—where exactly can I go to check all that personal info I had to dump into the system when I first signed up?

I've been using Bet365 for years now. I’ve tried plenty of other sportsbooks, but Bet365 consistently stands out as the best. When I made my first withdrawal, I just sent over scans of my ID (front and back), and they had everything processed by the next day. I usually withdraw directly back to the same card I use for deposits. In the past, you didn't even need a specific foreign currency account, but last year they asked for an IBAN, so I opened one. These days, most standard US bank accounts include an IBAN, so you probably won't even need to bother with a separate account anymore.
I should also mention that Bet365 offers great reload bonuses, plus they regularly roll out promotions at the start of a new season or during major tournaments like the World Cup or the Euros. There have even been times when I haven't placed a bet for a month or two, and they sent me a bonus just to welcome me back.
If you want to check or update your personal info, just click on "deposit" in the top right corner and then open the "my account" tab.
Aside from Bet365, I'd definitely recommend Betfair, though that's a completely different style of betting.

Are you absolutely positive they’re asking for a photo of your card? Because that sounds pretty ridiculous. Maybe they just need a screenshot of your last transaction or something similar, since that’s what Bet365 requested from me once...
Either way, I wouldn't hand that over if I were you. Just withdraw your winnings to Skrill, then move them to your bank or your card, and you'll be golden!!
And yeah, Bet-at-home is definitely one of those subpar international sites—low odds, poor settlement, and a headache when it comes to getting paid...
Check out Marathonbet, Betcity, Bet365, Sbobet, Noridcbet, or Expekt instead. Depending on what you're looking to bet on, you can find everything there!

Yeah, I'm 100% sure about this. I know how to read an email when I get one 😁 They want a photo of my ID and every single card I've used to fund my account so far, front and back, obviously. Honestly, my plan is to just withdraw everything to Skrill and then transfer it from Skrill to my Visa card, and call it a day...

Also, I had some funds come through via Paysafecard, so I used that to deposit into Bet-at-home (I couldn't use it for Bet365 for some reason). I'm well aware they are one of the worst books out there with the lowest odds and terrible settlement processes 🙂

Thanks anyway!

What’s your "Bet Max" limit on Bet365 for tennis when betting on game winners across ATP-WTA and ITF tournaments?
