There are a few decent sportsbooks out there that actually pay out without all that nonsense. I'd say just stay away from those shady sites and whoever knows what kind of amateur operation they're running.

With this new Gambling Act they just passed, did anything actually change regarding betting on foreign sites? For instance, are they going to start blocking IP addresses and stuff like that, or is everything still business as usual?

They haven't actually made those changes yet

Tyler Taylor82 said:I’m pretty much a novice when it comes to casinos and poker, and honestly, whenever I’ve glanced at the terms and conditions, they always seem like a total rip-off—especially since most casinos restrict those bonuses strictly to slots.

I used to mess around with this stuff a few years back when there was actually some decent money to be made. I can't speak for the casino side, but when it comes to poker or sports betting, you always want the smallest bonus possible because that usually means better terms. With sportsbooks, and occasionally in poker, you get these bonuses that basically refund you about 150-200% of the house margin. So, instead of getting standard odds like 1.9-1.9 on a tennis match, you might end up with something closer to 2.1-2.1, which lets even a complete amateur hunt for value bets. The catch, obviously, is that these bonuses are usually capped at maybe $20 to $50, so you aren't exactly going to retire off them. 😁 They make their bank if you stick around later to play at the regular odds and start betting on games where the lines were set way too generous.

Then you’ve got the massive poker bonuses—I’ve seen them go as high as $5,000—but those things only really claw back about 20-40% of the margin. At the end of the day, to actually see a profit after the bonus, you still have to outplay the other players and cover the rake; the only difference is you're fighting a slightly smaller rake this time around. It’s definitely not for beginners; to actually clear a $5,000 bonus, you have to play a ton of high-stakes hands, and if you don't actually know what you're doing, that margin discount won't save you because luck eventually runs dry. 🙂 If you want to play poker but you aren't a shark, you're better off looking for places that give you actual account credit rather than a "bonus," because a bonus always comes with strings attached that you have to play through.

I just have a straightforward question for you. I’m a total novice when it comes to this stuff, so any help would be appreciated. Is it actually possible to pull winnings from DraftKings directly onto an American AT&T Visa Prepaid card, assuming you're okay with their exchange rate fees? Thanks in advance for the answer.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't have a definitive answer for you since I don't run an account with DraftKings myself—but, looking at my own experience, I've withdrawn funds from two different sportsbooks straight to my domestic AT&T VISA and everything went through without a hitch (I use JP Morgan Chase). If you really want to play it safe and ensure those withdrawals land smoothly, my advice is to grab a foreign currency VISA card instead. It works 100% of the time—plus, if you plan on making frequent withdrawals, you'll actually save some money that way, since bank exchange rates can be pretty brutal!

Set up a foreign currency account; it clears without any drama and you can stack up a fortune just by dodging those annoying currency conversion fees. You’ll probably save a ton on the hidden junk fees tied to prepaid cards, too.

I'm not entirely sure if they'll let you withdraw straight to a prepaid card, but hey, there's no harm in trying. DraftKings is a legit operation—if things don't pan out, you aren't going to lose your shirt.

Has anyone actually managed to pull any cash out of FanDuel lately? They’ve gone and yanked the Skrill option from my dashboard, which makes me think they aren't even processing payouts to Americans via Skrill anymore. I see Neteller listed, but that’s strictly for withdrawals—you can't even use it to deposit anything. It feels like if you haven't cleared your funds by now, you're basically stuck. My only choice left is a direct wire to the bank, and honestly, I’m really not feeling that route right now.

Regarding identity verification at BetMGM, would a photo of my driver's license suffice, and am I expected to submit that image via email?

It depends on their specific requirements.
Just hit up their customer support via chat—that's the quickest way to get a straight answer.

So, if you haven't topped up yet, you're basically stuck. The only thing left is a direct bank transfer, which is honestly the last thing I want to deal with right now.

Just grab your money and walk away. I’ve never touched them myself, but their poker room is absolute garbage.👎

Good afternoon. I’m relatively new to this community, and I haven't come across anyone else discussing how to actually trigger the bonus offers over at DraftKings...
I just deposited $50, but I'm struggling to wrap my head around how this specific promotion works—the one where they offer a 100% match on your first bet. From what I can gather, the terms state the wager can't exceed $100 and it needs to be a three-leg parlay with odds of at least 1.3 per leg.
So, if I put down $50 on a three-leg parlay with odds of 1.3, 1.3, and 1.3, and I happen to lose, am I correct in assuming they will simply "refund" my initial $50 stake? My interpretation is that they aren't giving me free money upfront, but rather covering that first bet, and if I actually win, my account balance just increases by whatever the payout is... I wonder if I've grasped the mechanics correctly...
Thanks in advance.

FanDuel has this little trick where you deposit using a card first. But then, they force your very first withdrawal to go straight to a bank account—I mean, who even does that anymore? I guess they just do it to keep you playing longer so you eventually lose everything.

Avoid FanDuel at all costs...

They’ve tried to pull a fast one on me a few times now—classic shady behavior. I’ll place a bet on a high underdog line, and they tell me they’ll only accept a fraction of the stake, maybe 20% if I'm lucky, and then say the rest needs "authorization" if I want to proceed.

And they always claim this authorization process takes, what, ten minutes tops?

Well, I sit there waiting and waiting...

Then, magically, that authorization finally clears—every single time, so it’s definitely not a coincidence—but only AFTER the games have already finished, usually 2 or 3 hours after I actually placed the bet. 🤣

Of course, the "approval" always ends up being decided in a way that hits my wallet... 🙏

It's just total crooks—no apologies to anyone who feels the same way.

I was searching Google for some clarification on how to handle betting through Asian Connect and stumbled upon this forum, which prompted me to sign up. I’m hoping someone can walk me through the whole process—how to actually place bets through them, the registration steps, making deposits, the actual wagering itself, and then finally getting my money out. If you know anything about any of this, please help a guy out.

Thanks in advance...

How does the whole process work? Like, registration, making deposits, actually placing bets, pulling money out... basically anything you know that could help me out.

Thanks in advance...

That’s just betting through agents. I haven't personally pulled the trigger on that, but from what I gather, you get a direct contact—an agent—who handles all your action. You send them your cash, they handle the bets, and everything goes through them. There are definitely some extra layers and tricks to it, but that’s the gist of it based on what I've heard.

Hey, is anyone else having issues getting their money out of BetMGM via Skrill? It’s been three days since I put in my withdrawal request and it’s still just sitting there marked as "pending." I’ve already tried emailing them, but honestly, it’s just radio silence... this is getting ridiculous.

Just take it easy and hang in there! Honestly, they tend to move at a snail's pace with everything, don't they? But listen, you'll get your funds, so please don't fret about it one bit. If you haven't gone ahead and verified your account yet, wouldn't it be best to tackle that first?

Man, I waited nine whole days for a withdrawal from BetMGM once. Never again. Honestly, they’re just as much of a joke as FanDuel and BetMGM.
Just move over to Las Vegas or some of those Asian books and get on with it...

Hey guys! Quick question about verifying my bank account on Payoneer. They're asking for an IBAN, so I was wondering—am I supposed to put in the routing number from my own personal account, or is it the one belonging to the bank itself? Thanks a ton!
