Hey

Can someone please hook me up with some software recommendations for watching TV on my PC? I need stuff for digital antenna, analog channels, and even just listening to the radio. It’s gotta run on Windows 7.

Thanks

Do you realize you'll need an adapter for that too?

There are various software options out there, but they all seem to pull an UNKNOWN amount of data from the web. Personally, I just bought a TV tuner card—I'm using an ASUS model myself—and I couldn't be happier with the results. It handles everything from digital broadcasts to radio and analog signals quite smoothly.

Of course I’ve got a hybrid adapter, but I used it to get a Power Cinema 5 that won't even run on Windows 7

Have you tried compatibility mode? Try running it as if it were Windows XP.

So, I messed around with compatibility mode, but instead of using Power Cinema, I stumbled upon this sweet little program TiVo.
It handles digital, analog TV, and even FM radio. It’s super straightforward and everything actually works for once.

Cheers

There’s actually no need to download a specific app; you can just stream everything right through your web browser, for instance at: http://hulu.com/
