I recently ran into that error report and everything just completely locked up on me—now I can't even get AutoCAD to launch. To make matters worse, I'm stuck unable to open anything I've been working on for the last year (we're talking over 25 house designs plus a bunch of smaller projects), which is honestly pretty devastating. Does anyone have any advice on how to dig myself out of this mess? What should my next move be?

Well, if you can't get it to run, your best bet is probably just to uninstall it entirely, run a CCleaner to scrub the registry—assuming you have one of those on hand—and then start the installation process from scratch.

I've already tried a full uninstall and reinstall, but I'm a bit lost when it comes to this registry cleaner stuff—I have no clue what that actually is, how it works, or what steps I'm even supposed to be taking here.[/QUOTE]

Grab this little toolkit—you don't even need to run a full installation.
Just open up CCleaner, run a scan, and hit "fix." It should clear out all those unnecessary notes and keys sitting in your registry.

Go ahead and install AutoCAD. If things still aren't running right after that... well, who knows? Maybe there's just something wrong with the software itself. Try grabbing a clean version directly from the official Google AutoCAD website.

Let's dust this thread off for a sec—anyone else dealing with this? I'm running AutoCAD along with Adobe Illustrator, and while AutoCAD is smooth as silk, Adobe Illustrator is being a total nightmare. Here’s the deal: whenever I pull up the design layout and my cursor even *touches* an icon on the main toolbar, the whole thing just crashes—boom—straight to an error report. If I ditch the main toolbar and stick to the drop-down menus, it works fine, no issues at all. I mean, I could technically work that way, but it’s super clunky and honestly just slows me down big time. Tried reinstalling both programs, but nope—that same annoying error report keeps popping up like it owns me. I’ve even reached out to support twice, but they haven't gotten back to me once. Anyone else fighting this damn error report in Adobe Illustrator?
