Hello.
I'm dealing with an issue on my Dell Inspiron.
The machine is about two years old and hasn't seen much heavy use,
though there were times when it wouldn't even boot up for weeks at a time.
Lately, however, it just shuts down randomly. I've verified the charger works fine and the battery seems healthy. I also popped the cover off to check for dust, but it wasn't particularly dirty... I checked the CPU temperatures as well, and everything appears to be within normal ranges.
I attempted a fresh Windows installation, but the system crashed again right in the middle of the process.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wait, so you're saying it didn't take a tumble?

If it’s been sitting idle for a while, you might want to pop out the RAM and give those contacts a quick, thorough cleaning just to be safe.

But if it did take a fall, your best bet would be to swap in a different Western Digital drive and see if that does the trick.

If Windows is actually running, just check what the event manager says.

The Dell is dead...
