Hey everyone... I’m a little late to the party on this one. I wasn't really scouring the web before, and I didn't see much mentioned about shapewear. I had my baby about two years ago; I put on 17 pounds during the pregnancy, but by the time I finally got home from the hospital, I was down 13 from that. To make matters worse, my thyroid went haywire, which caused some extra weight gain... and honestly, ladies, the stomach situation is just a mess. There's this loose skin hanging there that feels like a total disaster. I’ve got stretch marks too, but I can live with those. Anyway, enough rambling. My main question is is it too late for me to start wearing shapewear after two years?

Yeah. It's too late.
At this point, you’d be better off focusing on your core strength. 😉
Whatever muscle you lost is gone—there's no "bringing back" those abs once they've vanished. That ship sailed a long time ago.
Now, the only thing left to do is tone them up.

Working out will definitely build up your muscle, but don't expect it to fix the loose skin issue. Unfortunately, that's something only plastic surgery can actually handle.

I went through with the tummy tuck, and while my core feels solid now, I’m still dealing with that loose skin issue. Honestly, I thought hitting the gym would help tighten things up, but I’m just spinning my wheels at this point. It’s frustrating. And let’s be real—fixing stuff like this isn't exactly cheap either. 🙂

You should really look into what a plastic surgeon can do regarding an abdominoplasty—that's the medical term for it. In my experience, the longer you wait, the worse the situation gets, which usually means the price tag goes up too.
No matter how much it costs, I don't think these procedures are quite the untouchable luxury they were a few years back.
From what I understand, you're looking at an average of around $16,000 $0.00, though it all depends on how complex the surgery ends up being.
