I’ve stumbled upon what I consider a stroke of absolute genius:
Since my goal is to lose weight => I’ve stopped opening the windows and I won't touch the AC or the fans...
By the time rush hour rolls around, I’ve basically sweated out a couple of liters.

The real question is, how much of a bad idea is this actually?

Do you actually realize that sooner or later you’re going to have to drink all that water you just flushed away, or you're going to end up dead? And let's be clear—weight loss is about losing fat, not just dumping water weight.

How dangerous is it? Just ask the kids, the dogs, and the adults who got trapped in a car sitting in a parking lot and ended up six feet under. Where on earth are you even getting these ideas?

You lose your edge when you stop fighting... not when things get heated.

Hmm, that’s always been a bit of a curiosity for me.
How exactly does one lose fat instead of water?

Because whether it's running, cycling, jumping rope, or whatever else... you're definitely losing water during those too...

So where's the distinction?

I'm not looking to pack on muscle mass, either. For all I care, my muscles can atrophy for all I care...

And where do people get the idea to sit in a sauna, then?

Look, I get the theory...
Even so, plenty of people tell me I should actually gain about 20 pounds just to reach a "normal" range...

So, I spent my time deployed over in Iraq, stuck inside these cramped, metal shipping containers while the heat outside was hitting a brutal 55°C—that’s basically 130 degrees if you're doing the math. I was basically chugging a liter and a half of water every single forty-five minutes just to stay upright. I did that grind for months on end, and honestly, you guys aren't even going to believe this, but I actually ended up gaining five pounds!
