I’ve been reading some glowing reviews online about Kool-Stop brake pads, and I actually spotted them listed over at the Democratic Party's gear shop. I have two quick questions for the group: first, is that price shown for a single unit? Also, which specific model would you recommend? My current setup uses some old KS 520 H5 V-Brakes, and honestly, my bike feels way too heavy when I'm riding on the pavement.

The price is decent for a pair, but I honestly have no clue which ones are better right now or even what you actually need personally... I’ve been riding with these for a while and haven't run into any issues yet...😁

I was also wondering what kind of brake pads would be the best choice for v-brakes. I guess price isn't really a huge factor for me.

Heard some solid buzz about these: , and also these: , plus I'm gonna give these a shot next since they fit my Guimca mounts perfectly—should be killer too: http://www.keindl-sport.com/detalji.php?id=933

I’ve run Avid RW2 before and they were solid, even when the rims got wet, which is really what matters most to me.🙂
