Look, I get it—you’re probably just following orders from the higher-ups, so maybe my question was aimed at the wrong person.

Our chat has been shut down. No explanation, no nothing. Just gone.

And please, don't try to pull the whole "illegal content" or "NSFW" card again. We all know there wasn't a single photo or link like that posted here. It’s completely baseless.

So, seriously, why was the chat closed?
I’m looking for actual arguments, not just people talking nonsense.

That's just not true. There were maybe three, four bans at most on this thread, and honestly, the last one was handed out even though no rules were actually broken.

Don't blow things out of proportion. It's just a chat, not some den of criminals.

The user wasn't being banable just because he posted a comic. There wasn't any actual porn or anything illegal in there—just some dark humor jokes about pedophilia. You keep bringing up bad taste and citing the admins, but have you actually provided a single logical reason or pointed to a specific rule that was broken in these last two days? No, of course not. Because if you did, maybe you’d actually be a decent moderator.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against you personally. People know you, and I think you're a nice person and all, but I won't stand for this sheriff-style attitude you're pulling as a mod.

Whether it's two weeks or two hours, if it were closed for a legitimate, valid reason, I wouldn't be complaining. But since it's obvious you just can't stand certain users, it's clearly a personal thing.
