My account settings are set up so I automatically subscribe to any thread I post in—but can we tweak the forum software to auto-unsubscribe me if all my posts in a thread get deleted?

I keep seeing threads show up in my "Subscriptions" even though I don't have a single post left in them. Since I know I had to post to trigger the subscription in the first place, it’s pretty obvious my posts were wiped. It would be great if the sub just ended once the posts are gone. Honestly, why waste my time clicking into a "subscribed" thread only to realize there's nothing left of mine to see?

Could you guys please ask Axmi to look into this? He's really the only one with the technical chops to actually figure out a fix for something like this.

Also, please don't move this thread over to PŽK since I still don't have access there. It feels like a total violation of my user rights—not that I'm surprised, given how things work around here.

Thanks!

That’s just not how it works. The issue is that the forum would have to scan every single topic for user posts after every deletion, or maintain a constantly updated user database within the thread. I know it sounds simple, but this is vBulletin, so we shouldn't expect any miracles 😢

If they could hard-delete posts, maybe the counter would update correctly, but that would require hacking the system, which isn't a realistic option.
