Hey everyone,
I couldn't find an existing thread that matched this, so I figured I’d just start a new one.
My brother was in a serious car accident back in 1999, and since then, he's been dealing with chronic hip issues. His diagnosis is Coxa vara traumatica. He’s already endured four different surgeries, but his doctor is insisting on another one. It's a mess—his back is killing him, and his right leg is actually shorter than his left because of the hip misalignment. Last time, they promised they could lengthen the leg during surgery, but honestly, we didn't see much improvement. He went to get a second opinion, and a specialist in San Francisco basically told him there's no point in putting himself through that kind of torture because there's nothing more they can do.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a top-tier orthopedic surgeon in Washington, D.C.? Whether it's private practice or through a major hospital system, he really needs someone to take a look and give us a straight answer.
Thanks in advance.
