Forget about the rain... It looks like we're just going to watch Red Bull demonstrate exactly how much faster they are than everyone else.
If the track stays dry, qualifying will likely be the only part of this weekend actually worth watching.

They'll test them out on Friday, and then we can see if anything actually worked during Saturday's qualifying.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see some pretty dramatic shifts in the standings.

I was being sarcastic.
Of course Kubica didn't have any luck. He might have even stood on the podium if that safety car hadn't appeared. But when certain drivers' favorites fail to perform in unpredictable conditions, they always seem to blame "bad luck," so I expect we'll hear the same old excuses this time around.

Ferrari has been granted permission to update their engine specs to address reliability issues—meaning they'll have more dependable power units as early as this weekend.
Plus, Ferrari is expected to run the full version of their f-duct system this weekend...

I honestly can't wrap my head around the logic they used when they decided to mess with the engine reliability for this season. It feels like they intentionally compromised it, and now, predictably, they’re back at the drawing board trying to tweak things again. I mean, what was the actual reasoning there? Is it just a constant cycle of trial and error at this point?
Word on the street is that the culprit might be the pneumatic valves. If they aren't regulating the air intake into the cylinder correctly, it throws the entire fuel mixture completely out of whack. And once that happens? Well, it’s game over for the engine. It just destroys the whole thing.

It seems their attempt to boost performance through less-than-legal means fell through, so now they’re pivoting to doing it all by the book. Is it any wonder they had to change tactics? Sometimes you just can't cut corners without getting caught, I suppose. 🤣🤣🤣

so I’ve been bugging her to pick up some stuff for me while she's out there, you know, making the most of the trip by being productive and all that...

can anyone do me a huge favor and check if there's any truth to this? I know you guys are the experts and probably know exactly where to look for this kind of info 🙏

I don't think there's any such thing as free entry.
But even if you have to pay, the merch stands are right in front of the stadium anyway. Besides, the engines are loud enough that you can hear them from a mile away, if that’s any consolation.
