Four days ago, I developed an inflammation of the clitoris. The pain is constant even without any physical contact, and even the friction from my underwear is becoming unbearable. I’ve tried drinking cranberry tea and applying chamomile compresses, but the swelling hasn't subsided in the slightest. I am at a total loss as to what else to try, and frankly, I am terrified of having to see a doctor or a gynecologist. If anyone here has dealt with a similar issue or has any practical advice, please help—this level of pain is truly excruciating! 🙏

Honestly, blueberry tea and basic compresses aren't going to cut it here.
You might find some minor relief by brewing an oak bark tea for compresses, or perhaps applying St. John’s Wort oil several times throughout the day to soothe the area. However, you really need to schedule an appointment with your OB-GYN, because an infection like this isn't something that just clears up on its own with home remedies.
It's worth reflecting on whether you've had any unprotected sexual encounters recently, as there's a real possibility you've picked up a bacterial or viral infection. You shouldn't take risks when it comes to your health.

You can't just try to fix stuff like this on your own at home 🙄

Go see an OB-GYN 🙂

👍
frankly, there is no way for you to know exactly what kind of inflammation is occurring down there, and quite honestly, there is absolutely no reason to be intimidated by a gynecologist; if you would just take a moment to read through our existing thread regarding doctor visits, you might find the reassurance you clearly need.
regardless of the specifics of what has happened, you really need to bite the bullet, conquer this irrational fear, and just go to the clinic!

...look, if the pain is truly that intense, you simply have to see a gynecologist... it is far too risky to offer medical advice blindly based on internet chatter...
The underlying cause of such inflammation can vary wildly... so please, go see a professional...
And listen... a long time ago, I experienced some discomfort near my clitoris myself... though it wasn't nearly this debilitating unless I touched it... eventually, a small bump appeared, about the size of a pea, which absolutely terrified me... but within a day or two—right as I was psyching myself up to head to the clinic—it just vanished. However, if this doesn't clear up, and if the pain remains this severe, you really need to consult someone with actual medical expertise. 👍

It feels like I learn something new every single day—can a clitoris actually experience an erection? 😕

Wait, why does your profile say you're male?

I found the title of that thread, "clitoral inflammation," to be somewhat dubious from the start. It really makes one wonder—is it even physiologically possible for the clitoris itself to become inflamed in such a vacuum?

If we are indeed dealing with an inflammatory issue, I am convinced we are looking at an infection in one of the surrounding glands or some similar localized complication.
The notion of the clitoris itself becoming inflamed is preposterous, considering it is essentially nothing more than a concentrated cluster of nerve endings.

Just because something sounds utterly preposterous doesn't make it so. Whether that individual actually suffered from clitoral inflammation or not is irrelevant; the undeniable reality is that such a condition exists, and thus we have all been forced to expand our horizons.
