Check out the Amuret Sweet line.
It’s basically a balconette, though not your standard version. I actually have one right now in black—it's killer...

The site is a total mess—super cluttered.
Can't seem to find it.

Is this the one:

edit: Just realized there are two versions of the same style—one with padding and underwire, the other just underwire...

I might as well jump in here and join the chorus of complaints. My back gives me trouble quite often, which is pretty wild considering how much I stay active! I even have a friend who ended up needing serious spinal treatment because of similar issues :zbunj:

Ugh, Victoria's Secret isn't doing anything special for me either, and I’ve been stuck in this loop for three months now—constantly browsing for new bras but never actually pulling the trigger on a purchase. 🤦 Honestly, at this rate, I’d rather just let them hang down to my knees.

Take a look at the Amoret Sweet line.
It’s essentially a balconette, though it doesn't follow the traditional rules of the style. I actually have one right now in black, and frankly, it’s spectacular.

That one is mine as well; I absolutely adore it!

I own both versions—the older padded model and the newer unpadded one.

As for the price tag? 🤷

Girls, listen up, because I finally found Anita this summer!
I’ve been hearing them on the radio constantly talking about how they have bras for every single body type imaginable, so I finally swung by their shop (they're right on Fifth Avenue in Washington, D.C., though I saw on the bag they have stores all over the US) and grabbed a bra in like five minutes flat. 🙂
Then, about a month ago, I went back specifically for a new bra. This lady working there actually measured me properly, handed me ten different styles, and we spent forever trying them on, pulling at the straps, adjusting everything...
Prices run from 200 to $167. They carry basic stuff and even maternity lines. I picked out one for 290 and honestly, I never want to take it off!
The one I’ve really got my eye on is $167, and I am totally buying it the second I get my hands on some cash.
The sweet lady even wrote down all the style codes for the ones I liked on a little slip of paper, just to make it easier for me when I head back...
Seriously, highly recommend!

So where exactly is this?
Anyway, speaking of bras, Calzedonia actually surprised me.
Just popped in on a whim and the staff was super helpful. She gave me 6 or 7 options, they all fit perfectly right away, so I just had to pick my favorite.
Couldn't believe I actually found a bra that fits without feeling like a total sausage...

Anyway, speaking of bras, Victoria's Secret totally blew me away.
I just kind of wandered in, and the sales lady was so sweet to me. She pulled out like 6 or 7 different styles, and they all actually fit my size... I just had to pick which one looked cutest.
I seriously couldn't believe I found a bra that actually fits without feeling like a total torture device.

Ugh, brain fart! Not Fifth Avenue, it was 23 Gundulic St
😍
Mine is super cute too, white with little flowers on it.
I honestly can't believe buying bras can actually be a "normal" thing and not a complete nightmare...
😍
I don't even mind spending the extra cash, honestly. It’s amazing when everything actually stays in place instead of sliding everywhere and digging into your shoulders... and—get this—it almost makes my boobs look smaller...
btw, it's so great reading this thread and knowing there are other "curvy" girls out there too....

I heard Anita is absolutely wonderful, plus the selection over at Felina in the Downtown Center is actually pretty solid... I used to shop there all the time before their variety picked up, though they really are quite pricey...

So, this year I happened to pick up a chemise from Victoria's Secret—and honestly, it fits me so incredibly well that I could hardly believe my own eyes, even though I usually wear an 80D (used to be an 85D once upon a time)

When I was visiting the States last year, I popped into a Victoria's Secret store and it was basically heaven on earth...
I ended up grabbing two different styles, and now I just order those exact same ones online in every color imaginable—they are absolute perfection 😉

Found two specific styles I love and now I just order them online in every color imaginable. They're basically my holy grail...😉

Which ones, though? I've heard nothing but good things about VS... but... I don't know, buying stuff that delicate online feels a bit risky.

Oh my goodness, this one is just absolutely perfect—I’m honestly trying to collect every single color available... 😁

It looks massive when you first lay eyes on it, but it actually shapes everything so nicely... and honestly, it makes you look much slimmer than you really are...

Yeah, I suppose the real issue is if you've never placed an order with them before, but maybe it's worth the little gamble?
I actually ended up selling two that didn't quite fit right after I bought them...

Anyway, back when I was at Macy's—they were having this incredible sale—you could buy two bras and get a third one for free... so I walked away with three high-quality bras for only $60, and even though they weren't from Victoria's Secret, they still look just as amazing today as the day I bought them...

How much more is shipping going to run you? Plus, are we looking at extra customs fees and sales tax on top of that?

I gotta be honest, looking at these two bras, I wouldn't pick either one for my boobs. Not because they aren't cute—they're actually great—it's just that because of my shape (and honestly, looking at that skinny girl with zero cleavage 🙂... jealous), everything ends up looking tiny regardless of the size I pick.

The photos are pretty much deceiving.

The delivery guys have been hit-or-miss with my packages before—sometimes they charge me, sometimes they don't... I guess it just depends on their mood that day...
Last time I actually got hit with fees, I had ordered four bras and ended up paying about $200 in customs and sales tax, which felt like a lot... though when you really sit down and crunch the numbers, it’s basically the same price as grabbing a few pieces from Victoria's Secret or Anita...

Angela Martin2 — honestly, I wouldn't dream of it either 😉
My current ones are just so weirdly shaped—they stretch way too wide and nothing fits right—so there is absolutely no way I'd be trying those...
But these brands? They actually seem to get everything perfectly proportioned and tucked in exactly where it should be 🙂

I'm 18 and I deal with pain right where my bra clasp sits.
I tried stretching it out while cracking my back, but it never really did the trick.
Do you know about those bone-cracking massages? They work wonders for that specific bra-strap pain.
I can do it myself, just not to my own back. Since my friends have the same issue, we basically save each other—I'm teaching them the technique so they can help me too. 🙂
If you have someone at home who’s good at massage, they could probably pull this off; you just have to be careful with how much pressure you use. 🙂
Look into it. It works for me. 😁
