I gave them a little listen and I gotta say, I’m actually digging it. They definitely lean hard into that Queens of the Stone Age vibe, but they aren't just a carbon copy—they’ve got enough of their own identity to keep things interesting. Not bad at all...

That’s just how it works with music this layered. You never quite get the full picture after just a few spins, unlike the immediate impact of the era of Songs for the Deaf.

Personally, I think Dead End Friends and Bandoliers from that first record are the only real highlights—everything else, I guess, I just skip over.

It’s tough for me to pick just a few favorites because the whole album is such a solid, consistent experience. But if I were forced to choose, dancing in the moonlight has definitely been my go-to lately. It has that heavy, sprawling classic rock vibe to it.
