I’ve got this 7oz bag of wheat germ from Target sitting here—looking at the nutrition facts, the protein content per 100g is actually pretty solid. I know you shouldn't rely on just one thing, but if you sprinkle a bit of this over every meal, you'll burn through that 100g serving fast enough. It packs about 25g to 30g of protein per serving... uh... so what do you guys think? Is it actually a good idea to eat roughly 100g of these sprouts every single day just to squeeze out an extra 25g of protein? 😁 And honestly, isn't this small 7oz pack the best way to go? It’s only about $1.75 which is a total steal, plus these things are a great source of iron...

Some people swap their oatmeal for this stuff. I’m not even sure if you’re talking about those toasted wheat germ bits or just regular ones—if those even exist as a thing 😁—but I gave the toasted version a shot once. To me, it tastes like burnt sawdust, so honestly, I’ll just stick to my oats 😁

Hey 😁, I honestly can’t tell if these are fried or not—they look and taste just like Pilaf, lol. But seriously, I need to know: is it actually okay to eat something like 3.5 ounces of this every single day? Or is this stuff meant to be used sparingly, like just a few tablespoons sprinkled over a meal? Also, I’m worried about potential side effects from too much Vitamin E. One 100g serving hits 250% of the daily requirement, and if I’m also getting more through everything else I eat during the day... what happens then?

You aren't going to hurt yourself—it’s highly unlikely you’d manage to hit levels high enough to trigger hypervitaminosis just by eating normally, unless you’re already slamming Vitamin E supplements like candy. Just stick to eating 🙂

I saw them at the grocery store today—they’ve got both the fried ones and the "regular" kind... 🙂
I haven't actually tried them yet, but the plain ones seem like the better bet... 🤷
