Hey everyone!
I’ve run into a bit of an issue with my old Sony Ericsson... specifically the W850i model.
Basically, I use the fitness app on the phone. When I go out for a run, it tracks my speed and my step count just fine. However, the calorie burn tracker is stuck—it just stays at 0.0 kCal no matter what. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can actually see my progress? I hit the pavement every single night and want to track my work.

P.S.—if you have any other tips or solutions that don't involve the phone itself, please let me know.

Also, does anyone know how many calories I should be aiming to burn daily?

Look, I can't speak to what your phone can handle, but pretty much any decent fitness tracker worth its salt comes with built-in calorie tracking... so maybe consider picking one up if you're serious about this... 🙂
it's not exactly cheap, either...

Go into the fitness menu, select settings, then personal data—input your height, weight, birth year, and gender.
Only then will it actually start calculating calories burned from walking or running.
