Same thing happened to me last week in the exact same spot—just this little lump that was super tender to the touch. It cleared up after a few days, though. Probably just a localized skin infection or something, might be what you're dealing with too.

Look, just hit up a dermatologist. Honestly, your best bet is probably starting with your primary care physician first; they'll give you a referral to a specialist if things look sketchy. Most likely, you're just dealing with an inflamed pimple. Especially if your hair gets oily fast or if you've been sweating more lately with this heat... It sounds like nothing more than a freaking zit. Give it a few days. If it doesn't clear up, dry out, or whatever, then yeah, go get it checked out by a pro. 🙂
