Need some help, please!

Here’s my dilemma: I’m heading to San Francisco tomorrow and a friend tagged along—someone I really didn't want coming with me. I'm planning on picking up a new handbag, and I'd much rather she didn't see it. The catch? If I try to hide it in a shopping bag, Customs might spot it and charge me duty. Does anyone know a way to keep it out of her sight without getting flagged at the border? Any advice would be a lifesaver. Help me out here!

Wait, if she actually catches sight of that, is she really going to turn you in to the Customs agent?! 😕

I get that, but if she sees it, she’ll just end up wanting it too. I'm not down for that—she’s always been a total copycat.

I mean, if you don't manage to hide it behind the seat or tuck it away in your carry-on during the flight, you could always just pull it out once you arrive and act completely surprised, as if to say, "wow, how did this even happen?" 👍

I suspect this might be slightly out of place within this specific PDF file 🤔

Pick up some coupons for the local BBQ joint. 👍

Now look, I once heard about an inmate in the USA who managed to smuggle two whole packs of cigarettes in through... well, let's just say "unconventional" means, so I honestly think hiding a small purse should be a breeze if you've got enough determination!
