I have actually experimented with breathing exercises before 😉 and I don't think it's just about shallow breathing.

With anxiety and panic attacks, you don't actually pass out—you just get that overwhelming sensation that you're about to collapse or even die, though, in reality, you almost never actually lose consciousness.

How should one interpret this sudden development? Out of nowhere, my blood pressure has spiked to 140/95... I'm dealing with dizziness, a sense of mounting panic, intense pressure in my head, and this persistent brain fog. It’s quite peculiar because whenever I’m feeling particularly stressed or agitated, my readings remain perfectly normal—absolutely nothing changes. But this... even though my EKG came back clear...

That sounds like a textbook case of high blood pressure. It was exactly like that for me at first—your pressure spikes out of nowhere, then the anxiety kicks in, the room starts spinning... for me, my legs started aching terribly. That showed up after I had my baby. The doctors were basically just philosophizing about which medications to use until one day my pressure shot up to 220/125 and I ended up in the ER.
It’s a bit of a misconception that your pressure only jumps when you're feeling nervous. With essential hypertension, they don't actually know the true underlying cause, so they end up making things up a little. Of course, if someone is already prone to hypertension, being exhausted, stressed, or sleep-deprived will cause those numbers to spike...

I’ve actually dealt with this a few times myself.

Out of nowhere, my vision just goes dark for about 15 seconds or maybe half a minute, and I feel completely wiped out.
But once I sit down and give it a moment, it passes.
I’ve noticed a pattern, though: it usually hits me when I haven't eaten anything for a while, and then I suddenly grab a chocolate bar or a soda.

this kind of thing has been happening to me over the last few years... and then yesterday, it hit me again.
basically... I get this sudden dizziness, chills running through my body, and everything just starts going dark. It’s like swarms of ants are crawling right in front of my eyes until everything just turns pitch black.
And usually, after that happens, I end up passing out.
if anyone has any idea what might be going on, please let me know 🙂
I went to see my doctor about this a while back and they started with blood work. Turns out I was a little low on iron, but I fixed that pretty quickly. I also had an EEG done, but those results came back totally normal too.

when you feel it coming on, try drinking a liter of water, some Coke, or maybe some Gatorade really fast. just sit down and chug it. works for me! there were two days where I couldn't even lift my head off the pillow, but ever since I started doing this (especially when it's cloudy out—you know, low pressure and bad weather vibes)—I drink tons of fluids and I'm fine. Of course, that's assuming your medical tests actually came back clean (which you said they did)

It could be an inner ear issue, maybe some kind of benign vertigo or something similar. Honestly, you should probably get an EEG, see a neurologist, check your eye pressure, and get those balance tests done. I guess the first step is just getting some blood work finished and then hitting up a specialist. It might even be an iron deficiency or some weird metabolic thing—who knows? Either way, this isn't something you can just ignore. I actually collapsed once at a bus stop and smacked my head right against a pole—it could have been way worse, like falling out into traffic or something. Seriously, go see a doctor. Please. Maybe it’s just benign vertigo, which cleared up for me (well, at least I don't feel it anymore). I dealt with this back when I was 17, and now I'm a few years older—okay, fine, I'm ancient.

So... I'm 15, and every time I blink, I see these little black streaks in my vision. Like, up and down or whatever.
Does anyone have any idea what that could be?

I experienced an almost identical sequence of events in the restroom earlier today... I walk inside, begin to stumble uncontrollably, and proceed to knock over everything in my immediate vicinity; naturally, I ended up slamming my lower back against the tub and bruising my elbow in the process. The most tragic aspect of this entire ordeal, however, is that I possess absolutely no recollection of how it unfolded... nor am I even aware that I was causing such widespread destruction around me.
