Hey, I'm looking to pick up a new monitor—thinking about a 22" LCD. I've got $500 on hand, so let me know what you guys recommend. Thanks in advance!

Also, how do I check my RAM in Windows? I tried looking through Device Manager but couldn't find anything. 🤷

Maybe try checking it using Windows Home Edition

If you're on a newer version, just go to Search and type "Visitor Center." Once the results pop up, click that, and you'll see it listed there...
If you're still running Windows XP, just hit START -> Control Panel and select System. You'll find the info at the bottom under the "General" tab.

I mean, I already know how much RAM I've got, I was just wondering if there's a way to check the MHz and which software companies actually make tools for that. Doesn't really matter though, I'll just pop the case open, but I figured I'd ask if it's possible...

Well, just download and install Everest. If it isn't some total junk software, it should show you exactly what memory you're running and its MHz rating.

Sadly, I couldn't find them in any of the five stores I checked 😢
