What an absolutely incredible start from Rosberg! 🙏 🙏 🙏 Honestly, watching that first half was pure adrenaline—constant overtaking and the leaderboard kept shifting every single second without a moment of boredom. And then that downpour hits... man, rain always turns things into a complete lottery where some get lucky and others just get screwed. Two of them were right in the middle of their pit stops when they red-flagged the race; if it had ended just a lap or two later, they probably wouldn't have even scored points. Besides, the track would've likely been soaking wet anyway if they had started at the scheduled time—that IndyCar race was already delayed because of the weather, and they were originally set to go at 1:30 PM...

Kimi is the king.

Just listen to what the drivers are saying about how the track conditions actually were:

Nico Rosberg said:"I was out there aquaplaning even with a full set of wets on—it was wild." 19 miles"Honestly? It was a total disaster—I couldn't even keep the car on the pavement. Just ridiculous."

Lewis Hamilton said:Once the rain started pouring, driving became an absolute nightmare. I was aquaplaning all over the place—honestly, those were some of the most dangerous conditions I’ve ever faced on a track.

Sebastian Vettel said:"I was coming up on Turn 7 when the track just opened up with water—it was intense—but I was trying to play it safe," he admitted. "The car just hydroplaned right out from under me; there wasn't a thing I could do about it. There was simply too much standing water, and my tires just weren't built for that kind of mess."

From what I can gather, there was a pretty universal consensus among the drivers that the race should have been red-flagged given how terrible the conditions were...

They really should have called it—there was this clip of Mass where you could just see how much water was on the track. It felt more like hydroplaning than actual racing at that point. Huge props to Heidfeld for pulling off second place, though. 👍 Ferrari's management completely blew it; they should've gone with intermediates. 👎 Before that red flag, the race was incredible. It looks like these new rules are a total home run. I can't remember seeing this many overtakes in the first two races of a season in forever. Honestly, it feels like it'll take a miracle for anyone to knock Button and Brawn off the top spots... that car is just brutal. The ease with which he surged from fourth to first doesn't exactly scream "unpredictable championship," but hey, at least it’s entertaining to watch him fly.

The race was certainly engaging enough, though it’s a shame it ended far too soon.

Honestly, it doesn't even matter. They should have either called it quits right then and there or just pushed through and dealt with the fallout later, instead of dragging things out for an hour. It’s kind of like when Blažičko starts being overly cautious and suffocating the pace, and now we're seeing this exact same thing happen again. Kimi probably saw exactly where this was heading from the very start.
A total legend.

Those were two absolutely stellar races—so much action happening right on the track! Honestly, with a season this unpredictable, the only people who could possibly be unhappy are the die-hard fans of specific teams. But then again, those folks are never satisfied unless their absolute favorite driver takes the checkered flag, regardless of how thrilling or dull the actual racing might be.

My only real gripe is that I wish we’d gotten at least another ten laps at the end,

because man, what’s the point of having a massive championship showdown in the final race if there's zero action on the asphalt? It’s just frustrating when one car is so dominant that they can't even get close enough to the other to make a move.

No beer for me today, guys. Better luck next time. 🤣

😁 Great. Everything just went sideways, and I couldn't make it 🤣 so we’re definitely winning the next race 👋 I just hope the FIA doesn't go after Vettel again 🙂 who knows what they'll dream up this time—maybe they'll fine him for stepping on some flowers by the track 🙄

And once again, we’re left with that bitter aftertaste following the race... just when things were finally getting interesting, we get hit with an interruption—as if we weren't already waiting on nothing more than cars spinning off or reshuffled positions. I’m sitting here feeling a bit dizzy myself—spinning in circles, much like this whole situation—but really, it's just more nonsensical safety calls. I suppose one has to wonder what they expect rally drivers to think about in those moments?🤷

The only thing you can say for sure after this race is that Kimi proved once again he's just a total amateur.

I’m not exactly a huge fan of Kimi, but I really can't stand seeing drivers being insulted like that.☕

Look, maybe he isn't some small-town nobody. He might just have a killer PR manager who realized people are easy to manipulate and figured out how to manufacture a massive fanbase for his client.

Hope dies last.🙄 If you don't win the next one, you'll be the first to say "we'll get them next time."😁

As long as those diffusers are allowed, I highly doubt Red Bull can pull off a win... but if those diffusers are banned, anything is possible. It seems to me that Red Bull is currently in the best shape among the teams not using those controversial diffusers... and that's a bad sign for the rest of us.☕

Well done, expert.🙏 I find myself agreeing with this assessment.☕

With those diffusers they're running, I doubt Red Bull can even grab a win... but if the FIA bans them, anything could happen. Right now, Red Bull looks like the best of the bunch not using those controversial diffusers... which isn't great news for anyone else☕

Red Bull already has a new diffuser ready 😍—a little birdie told me the FIA is still deciding😉

Then you're all toast. No matter how you look at it, after China following dominance, it’s just going to be Red Bull and Vettel ruling the roost☕

Is there gonna be a replay of the race or does anyone have a link somewhere? I watched everything right up until the red flag, but I skipped that total garbage at the end. I'm dying to know what kind of mess Blažičko and Novak were getting into and how the whole thing actually went down. Anyone know where I can download it? 🙂
