Anyone used Prosport? Thoughts?

Anyone actually picking stuff up from these guys? What’s the general consensus on them?? I noticed their prices are lower than some of our local shops—even when you factor in the shipping costs.😕

I take it from them... no complaints here.

Well, I actually picked mine up directly from their shop in Washington, D.C., since I happened to be passing through on a trip. Just keep in mind that if you look at the prices online, you’ll need to factor in an extra 8.5% for their local sales tax. Personally, I think it might be worth driving out to pick up the goods at a small town in the Midwest; it seems like a decent way to dodge shipping fees, customs, and sales tax altogether.

I did look into the whole customs situation by giving a freight forwarder a quick call, and he mentioned that you can bring in goods up to $100 without running into any duties. So, theoretically, you shouldn't have anything to declare, and if a customs agent happens to inspect the package, I guess you could just claim they are basic necessities or dietary supplements. I haven't actually had the chance to test out what the forwarder told me, though.

Is the quality actually legit though? Like, does it even hold a candle to those big-name brands everyone screams about—you know, the MusclePharm or Weider types?

And more importantly, how am I supposed to actually get my hands on this stuff if I'm living in some random small town in the Midwest?

Honestly, MusclePharm is total garbage, and Weider isn't exactly anything to write home about either. They’re definitely in that same tier, though if I had to guess, they're probably even better than those two. 🤣

And honestly, the best part is that shipping is always just $9, whether I'm grabbing a 5lb tub or a tiny 500g bag! Since I usually go for the heavier shipments, that works out perfectly for me 🙂
Plus, they actually answer their emails really fast—which, in my book, is a huge win...

even though those customs fees really suck when they actually catch you—I’m constantly ordering stuff online and I’ve only been hit with extra charges twice so far! I tried asking ProSport to just mark the package as a gift, but apparently, they can't do that if they're shipping as a registered business. They claim it's against the rules or whatever! 😢
If I had a highway pass for the toll roads, I’d just drive over there myself—they have this option where they can ship to any local post office in a small town in the Midwest! But between the gas and the tolls, it would end up costing more than the actual customs fee, so it’s just not worth the headache!
Yesterday I ordered two trial sizes of their shakes—one kilo each—so we'll see if customs decides to ruin my day this time! 🙂

I actually just pulled the trigger on a tub of Optimum Nutrition whey from Bodybuilding.com—snagged it for a ridiculous price, only about 19 bucks—so now we wait and see if the boys at the border decide to take a cut.

By the time I factored in the shipping costs, I ended up looking at $35 total.

Which shipping method did you end up going with? Was it standard international mail... or something like FedEx?
