Fine. I guess I'm the idiot for posting that damn thing without reading the TOS first...

You don't need to insult me. You don't know me, and I already apologized for the post...

Seriously, are you trying to bait people here, or is "stupid" just your go-to vocabulary?

Calling me stupid five times now is more than enough...

P.S.
I have no interest in insulting you. We aren't on the same level.

And would you mind giving me a little breathing room while you're at it? Man, you moderators sure do have a thing for hovering over me.😁Nah, I'm good. I've got a big night out planned this Saturday.

Jerry Martin19 said:Look, I totally get that we can't just delete posts whenever a user asks us to, but I’ve never really understood why we shouldn't just issue a permanent ban if they want out. It’s probably just a couple of clicks and everyone walks away happy... 🤷

And what happens if they change their mind? Like, two months or two years down the road, they come crawling back wanting to post something, ask a question, or send a DM...?

At the end of the day, handing out a permanent ban isn't exactly rocket science if that's what's wanted, but what's the point?

Sure, maybe it is just a few clicks, but there's a much easier, painless way to handle it: just don't visit Reddit and call it a day. Honestly, what kind of OCD would force someone to constantly check this forum? I highly doubt it.

If you don't want to be here, then don't be here. Simple as that.

Looks like you guys are tearing each other apart over my STUPID post. I wasn't trying to offend anyone, and honestly, I don't see the point in dragging this out any further.

Fine, my bad—if you want to keep fighting about it, go ahead. It's your funeral.

you weren't wrong to ask
but honestly, looking at how this is going, I think we should just lock this thread down already
