I couldn't find an existing thread about these specific pills, so I figured I'd just start a new one here 😁.

So, I used to be on Yasmin, but after taking a break, I decided to switch things up with Yasminelle and I'm already halfway through my second pack... I'm mostly taking them to get my cycle under control and to help clear up my skin

I haven't really run into any side effects yet, but I'm wondering how long it actually takes to see if they're doing the job—specifically regarding my skin clearing up. It's been so long since I was on the old Yasmin that I honestly can't remember how much time passed before I saw those first real results, so if anyone has some experience with this, please let me know 😉!

On top of that, they've actually gotten cheaper lately... the first time I picked them up, I paid about $107, but now they're only $93 for a three-month supply... they're being shipped in fresh from Canada now 🙂.

How did you even hear about those? Based on what I've seen, they seem great. And if they actually cost $93only three months' worth of savings, they're still cheaper than Yasmin's—just barely. Where do you pick them up?

They don't look bad—I’d love to start using them. Are they actually available at local pharmacies here?

My OB-GYN actually suggested I swap them out for Yasmin

I usually just order them through my local pharmacy near Union Square... they ship in from Canada, so there's usually about a week's wait

Honestly, if I could just grab them directly while visiting Canada, it’d probably be cheaper since you end up paying those extra shipping fees here

You can't even find them in any of the shops around here😉

Anyone know what these go for here in the States?

Over here, people usually grab them in a three-month supply bundle, so by the time I’m done dealing with customs fees and all those extra surcharges, I end up shelling out about $93, which works out to roughly $31 per month

Quick question for those who frequent the pharmacy over at Pike Place Market—do you actually use a prescription from Yasmin there, or can a doctor just write you a script for it even if it hasn't officially hit the shelves in the States yet?

If you're ordering Yasminelle, the pharmacists will sniff it out immediately because they know the difference, even if they don't carry it in stock here. It’s just like how so many other medications get ordered from overseas; people try to be sneaky, but you can't hide the details when it comes to things like gin—you just show them the prescription and call it a day, because let's be real, Yasmin and Yasminelle are definitely not the same thing 😉

Honestly, it drives me crazy that they insist on a brand-new prescription. I went in with my old one from back in 2008, and she had the nerve to tell me I needed to go get a fresh one. Like, why? How does that even work? I don't get it... she’s basically just glancing at the paper for a second, so the whole thing is just super annoying, but whatever, fine 🤣

Honestly, the main reason I’m sticking with them is for my physique and to get my cycle back on track... which actually worked. It isn’t perfect by any stretch, but things are feeling way better than before 😁

As far as weight goes, I don't think I've gained anything; my hormones usually mess with me anyway and leave me feeling a bit bloated, but it's nothing crazy... personally, I even prefer these over the Yasmin I was taking previously

I haven't spotted anything negative so far... knock on wood, I don't want to jinx it 😍

I honestly feel like while I was on Yasmin, my body was just holding onto way too much water weight; I dealt with endless bloating and my PMS was easily ten times worse than it is now. Now, even if there’s a tiny difference, those symptoms are still there but they're so much more manageable... it's all about how those hormones 😁

Look, you don't need to worry about managing them yourself—people over at Pike Place Market handle all that stuff. All you really have to do is track your cycle based on what you're reading on the Canadian 🤣

..but hey, if you really want to go that route, I can have them order some for you from Germany. It costs a little bit extra 🤣 so just let me know if you're cool with that

I recently made a trip to a small town in the US Midwest to restock my supplies... I managed to pick up six boxes using my gynecologist's private prescription for just over $55.

I used a minor crossing and didn't even need a toll pass.👍

And honestly, I'm pretty sure any gynecologist can write a prescription... it's just printed on a little slip of paper that says Yasmin, the date, and has a stamp on it, if I recall correctly. My doctor actually kept my last one, so I just used a copy of the prescription to buy them 😁

My doctor won't write me a prescription for Yasmin because he says it's a social drug and it isn't even on the approved medication list here in the States. I was wondering, if I just drove over to Canada to try and pick some up without a prescription, do you think they'd actually give them to me?

Seriously though? You should probably just try hitting up a private clinic; honestly, if you just pay for a single PAP test or something similar and ask for the script, 😁 it ought to work out 😍
