Dennis Harris3 said:Suicide Silence and Winds of Plague... basically the top two deathcore bands.

Yeah, I've actually checked out the Winds of Plague album, Decimate the Weak.

Man, these guys act like In Flames invented the wheel or something 🤷

Check out this track from Parkway Drive, they're such an awesome band called Metalcore

Metalcore/Thrash metal (kind of reminds me of older Trivium... you know, that Finnish school vibe, the vocals are just incredible 😁 )

Do me a favor and check out some tracks from Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya. I’m looking for stuff in that same vein—heavy on the breakdown riffs. If you've got recommendations, lay them on me.

Just a little something more melodic—seriously, check out the part at 3:50 🙂. It's pretty killer

Just wanted to share what I was downloading today (you know, when I get a bit bored and start surfing the web)

One band for those who prefer cleaner vocals paired with some heavy riffs:

100 Demons - "Repeat Process" on Deathwish Inc.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XydJP9qsPTQ

Here's something a buddy of mine absolutely loves—it's some more modern Thrash metal with a bit of a Metalcore influence.🙂

Five Finger Death Punch - "Never Enough" official Music video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfr_nWsXOBg

A little Deathcore, The Acacia Strain
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIUdFuY74ek

Christian Metalcore, Demon Hunter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXktCbZzh8E

Darkest hour - Convalescence
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cn3RQAeGh8

Some wild guys who mix all sorts of styles together
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqeg5T4WYkw

Misery Signals
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2QFDMlitsE

If I stumble upon anything else, I'll post it here for you guys :P
Maybe do a little digging on Wikipedia if you want more.

Man, I just realized I totally overlooked Psychostick (Hardcore / Metalcore / Humorcore 😬)

Honestly, every single one of their tracks is a winner. They’re probably one of the few bands where I can actually listen to their entire discography without skipping anything. 😁

Where are all my metalcore fans at?

Here’s a quick rundown of what I’ve been checking out lately (watching and listening)

As We Fight - This Is Who We Are (It’s a 3-DVD set; the first two hours are basically a documentary about the band, then you get live footage, plus some bonus tracks)
The Autumn Offering - Honestly, I’ve been tearing through their stuff. They’re a pretty solid band, I guess.
Chimair - The Infection (new album). I don't even need to explain it... just a new Chimair album. It's this brutal mix of groove metal and metalcore.🙏
Closer - They're alright, I suppose.
The Devil Wears Prada - They’ve been one of my favorites lately. If you’re into Underoath, you should probably grab this right away—their new album just dropped.
God Forbid - Earthsblood (new album). It’s Thrash metal / Metalcore, kind of reminds me of Five Finger Death Punch. I haven't downloaded their older stuff in a while, but maybe I will soon.
Hatebreed - For The Lions (new album). Just some heavy Hardcore. It’s actually an album of covers, which I thought was pretty cool.
Psychostick - Sandwich (new album). A bit of Comedy Hardcore. I don't know, maybe I expected a little more from them than this.

So yeah, that’s pretty much it.🙏

here we go 😁

lately I've been diving pretty deep into It Dies Today, Still Remains, Settle the Sky, and 36 Crazyfists.
With that last one, their latest album The Tide is a total must-listen for any metalcore fan 😉 -personally, it's easily the best album I've ever heard 🙏🙏

Yeah, for me, the absolute best tracks have to be "Absent the Saints" and "Waiting on a War"...

Besides those few I already brought up, I’d also throw in
for the folks who dig a more atmospheric vibe
Ocean http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PleaHW811nI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1i4pAJeLpQ
Machines http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3wSeAZXo70

now, for the breakdown junkies
Greeley Estates http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1OdmM8Ay2o (new album dropping in a few days—their older stuff wasn't even really metalcore)
Asking Alexandria http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMptKCprhKc

I see several bands have already been mentioned above, but for those who might not be familiar with this group: I highly recommend their second album, Pedal to the Metal, even though their debut is actually heavier. 🙂 Personally, I dig them; their aesthetic and lyrical themes lean heavily into that eighties vibe.
Along with classics like Bullet for My Valentine, All That Remains, Trivium, and First to Last, I also enjoy Alexisonfire 🙂

Deathcore?
I’d suggest checking out Bring Me The Horizon or Devils Rides on Horseback—even if they aren't really your usual style. You can find plenty of their stuff on YouTube...

It’s actually kind of a trip—there happens to be another band out there with the exact same name that plays this really basic, bubblegum pop stuff, so just a heads-up 😬
