Just throwing this out there as a hypothetical question—if some random "average" user had started this thread, would they have been shut down and slapped with a ban immediately? Since Deedy used to be a moderator here, I noticed he just posted this totally trollish topic and nobody even blinked. So, what gives? Is there some special treatment going on, or am I just misreading the vibe and this isn't actually a troll post?☕

If anyone else had dared to start this thread, they would have been slapped with a permanent ban without a second thought. But since the moderators are essentially untouchable—allowed to troll or act out however they please while the rest of us face the music—he isn't going to face any consequences at all. 😍
No point in arguing; on this forum, the moderators' word is law, regardless of whether they are actually in the right or not. It’s a futile exercise to file an appeal because you won't get anywhere with it...

I was actually thinking the exact same thing. If I had been the one to start a thread like the one Deady opened, people would have labeled me a troll and docked 45 points instantly. Since Deady is a "somebody," he gets a pass—regardless of whether he used to be a moderator or not. If someone who’s constantly hanging out on the LJES forums wrote that, they’d get banned and everyone would call it straight-up nonsense. Well, that's just how the game is played, I guess.

WHAT'S OKAY FOR THE BIG GUYS ISN'T OKAY FOR THE REST OF US😍
Basically, what's allowed for Jupiter isn't allowed for an ox

just an old Latin saying🙂

I think Blue
you really shouldn't be chiming in just to troll or clutter up the chat 🙄
the whole subject is actually pretty serious—which is why it was reopened later, since it’s clearly interesting and useful stuff, I guess
sure, Deady probably started this whole thing as a bit of a joke, but hey, life isn't all business and heavy lifting, right? This forum is supposed to be a place to have some fun too
did you even bother reading the actual topic though?
and honestly, even if Deady had some special status here, I highly doubt they would have shut the thread down in the first place

If you ask me, there's some real meat on these bones because you've got two people diving straight into the Trinity from a first-hand perspective, plus there's this underlying sense of humor running through the whole thing that I find totally 😍

Just a heads up: please keep things relevant to the subject. A little lighthearted banter is fine, but anything that crosses the line is getting deleted and you'll be banned.

Thanks in advance. 🙂

If you revisit my initial post, the context should become quite apparent.

Every single post features a small report icon; just flag them for trolling. You can even do it repeatedly. While truth might earn you a warning, at least it keeps the staff busy. 😉

Furthermore, this "former" moderator continues to slide through the threads unnoticed—he’s still holding his position, despite the label. We really ought to take a page out of his book regarding how to navigate these waters, which is precisely why we are compelled to start these discussions ourselves. ☕ ... 😍

I should also mention, since things are bound to get heated over there... what he laid out in his opening post is essentially just a repackaged version of a story published a few years back; he’s simply tweaked a few details to make it look fresh.

But given his role as a moderator, we can't exactly call it trolling, can we? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Honestly, I find the moderators' lack of integrity quite staggering; handing out bans in a thread dedicated to trolling and mocking an entire nation is a poor look.

Yet, on the flip side, you see a moderator insulting the entire Slovenac population by belittling their stature, and there’s no repercussion—neither for the trolling nor for the blatant disrespect shown to other people.

It’s truly disappointing.

I wouldn't know—but I do know those "controversial" posts on this thread get nuked at lightning speed... as if they just conjured up some trio out of thin air... 😂 🙄

JFTR, as a Slovenac, I don't see anything inherently offensive in this thread. There are definitely some posts pushing the envelope—not from the OP, but from some of the other users—but honestly, most of it just feels like good-natured trolling.

This is a blatant provocation based on nationality that warrants at least a 30-day suspension, if not a permanent ban altogether. However, since the moderator is part of the game itself, there won't be any real consequences.🙏🙏🙏

Nicole Mitchell, honestly, you’re getting pretty tedious with this constant whining
look, we get it, you're clearly holding a grudge against the mods because you're feeling all lonely and neglected and just generally slighted, okay!
do us all a favor, I'm begging you, go find some other corner of the internet to play in, because your posts aren't adding anything to this conversation except maybe providing a little bit of relief for your own gallbladder

Alright, we get it—you’re frustrated with the moderators, feeling overlooked, isolated, and generally unappreciated. Fine.
But please, I’m asking you nicely, go find another playground to haunt, because your posts here aren't adding anything to the conversation other than perhaps providing a bit of catharsis for your own bile.

I'll happily move on the moment someone provides a single reasoned, substantive response to any of my points.😍😍😍

If anyone else had started this thread, they’d likely be sitting in the corner of the banishment ward by now, but since one of you initiated it, naturally, everyone is playing defense.👍

Nicole Mitchell said:I can't believe people are actually falling for this crap. Seriously, what are we even doing here? It’s like everyone just collectively decided to stop using their brains at the same time. I saw this guy yesterday—just some dude at a Starbucks in Chicago—trying to argue about politics with someone who clearly didn't know the difference between a senator and a mailman. It was painful to watch. And don't even get me started on what **Gary Patel** is saying. Honestly, man, give it a rest. You're reaching so hard you're gonna pull a muscle. It’s pure nonsense. People like him just love the sound of their own voices, regardless of whether they're making sense or not. It's the same old story every single day. Everyone thinks they've got the ultimate truth, but half the time, they can't even handle basic facts. It's exhausting. Just total exhaustion.

This is straight-up hate speech targeting our national identity, and honestly, it deserves at least a 30-day suspension... maybe even a permanent ban if we're being real. But since the mod is actually playing the game, I guess we aren't seeing any consequences. Typical. 🙏🙏🙏

Give me a break. Seriously, stop talking nonsense. Nobody is actually going to get banned over some random post like that, so quit being such a drama queen.

Is this some kind of nationalistic provocation? Seriously?

In these debates, people don't bother with logic; they just go straight for the low blows instead of wasting breath on actual arguments.
😁
I mean, honestly, why would anyone even bother trying to give you a coherent, high-quality response to some vague, hypothetical scenario you've cooked up?
If you actually ask something specific, then maybe—just maybe—people will put in the effort to give you an answer that’s somewhat decent, though "decent" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there, since that doesn't necessarily mean you'll actually be happy with what you get.

hollowtrucker77, you really think there’s zero chance this topic is just someone trolling us?
