Buying lubricant is certainly an easy fix, and I don't mind doing it, but I am fully aware that my natural lubrication, arousal levels, and general drive aren't really the issue here. My partner 😍

I genuinely feel that this isn't a matter of us losing our spark, our emotional connection, or our physical attraction to one another; rather, it is strictly a physiological hurdle. I suspect that using a lubricant is merely a temporary patch for a deeper issue...

I am curious to know if anyone else has found themselves navigating this exact same situation. If you have, what specific products did you find effective, and how long did it take before things felt completely back to normal for you?

Hi everyone... I’m not sure if anyone here might have an answer for this—I tried searching online before starting this thread, but no luck. Since I’m a new member, I hope I’m not breaking any forum rules... please don't be too hard on me! Anyway, the reason I'm posting is that I've been dealing with recurring yeast infections and vaginal inflammation (that stinging sensation right at the opening) for quite a while now. It actually got to the point where I was curious enough to take a look myself to see what was going on. Everything seemed pretty normal, except for right at the entrance—on that "ring" area surrounding the opening, if that makes sense—where I noticed these two little dark gray lines on the bottom right side. Honestly, I have no idea what they could be. I’ve seen a few gynecologists about the infections, but none of them ever mentioned anything about this... maybe because they were so focused on using instruments to check my internal health that they didn't pay much attention to the external area? Or maybe it's just something I never noticed before. Has anyone else experienced something similar or perhaps heard of what this might be?
I really hope someone can help me out!

Is it on the outside near the anus? I'm not entirely sure I followed you. It might just be the skin folds around the area since they're so close together.

So, right underneath the labia, on the bottom right side of the vaginal opening... there are two tiny black spots... :/ I guess that makes it a bit clearer? If anyone knows what I might be talking about, any insight would be really helpful!

Are they raised when you touch them, or can you not feel anything under your fingers?
I'm not sure, dear. It might just be a small mole.
It really should be checked out. Your best bet is to show your OB-GYN during your next exam!

I'm not entirely sure, dear—it might just be a phantom sensation, I guess.
It would probably be best to have it checked out. Maybe show it to your OB-GYN during your next exam!

Nothing is actually raised and there isn't any pain... I'll show her... I have my Pap smear scheduled for February 28th... so I'll ask then... hopefully I can stay calm until the 28th. :/
thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the reply!

Don't panic. I truly don't think there's any reason to worry! 😉

Hey ironotter21,

I noticed you posted in the vulvodynia thread too, but since you aren't active there anymore, I wanted to check in and see how you're holding up. I wrote out my own issues in pretty detail, though I'm not convinced it's actually vulvodynia, so I'm curious about your experience. I'd love to hear what the doctors are telling you.

Let me know if you can!🙂

I noticed you also posted in the vulvodynia thread—though I don't see you there anymore—so I was wondering how things are going for you lately. I actually wrote out a detailed post about my own struggles, though I'm not entirely sure if it's actually vulvodynia or something else... so I'm curious to hear what your experience has been. I'd love to know what the doctors have told you, if you don't mind sharing.

Give me a shout if you can—I'd love to catch up!🙂

Oh, I just finished reading your post... luckily I don't have vulvodynia anymore—well, not entirely—but it was burning for four months straight. I ended up taking some Diflucan and using Gyno-Daktarin suppositories along with Citrofit and Acidosalus (both the topical kind and the oral ones). Anyway, the daily burning has finally stopped—though I guess it still stings occasionally—but it hasn't fully cleared up yet, and I still have that lingering acidic sensation down there. That's actually how this whole thing all started.
What kind of symptoms are you experiencing—if you don't mind me asking? I guess it might depend on what's bothering you.

Hi 🙂 I have a question for you all... I’ve been scrolling through this forum and reading over what everyone else has shared... My boyfriend and I have been together for two and a half years now, and we are sexually active... Last night, while we were having sex, he mentioned that something felt strange down there, 😁 specifically that things felt thicker than they used to be, and that it didn't feel like it had before... So, I decided to check for myself 🙂 and it really wasn't the same; it felt somewhat swollen. It isn't causing me any pain, nor is there any itching or unusual discoloration, and since I had my period five days ago, I won't be starting it again anytime soon... plus, I haven't been under any kind of stress lately either? 😕🤷

I’m heading back to my gynecologist tomorrow for the exact same reasons... more sores on my pelvic area, itching, stinging... honestly, I'm about to lose it.

I know I’m probably posting this in the wrong thread, but I’m really hoping someone can help me out...

Does anyone happen to know why the outer labia might be darker in color?

I know some women get a bit darker during pregnancy. No clue what else it could be. You pregnant or something?

No, I didn't mean it like that... I know that's just what happens when you're pregnant, which is exactly why I was asking! I thought maybe there might be some other underlying reason behind it all? :/
