I won't waste my breath discussing complexes. If someone can't afford 4 GB of RAM, they should just go find a sturdy tree branch and call it a day. It’s obvious how this week will go. Windows Vista will be released without the usual nonsense. By the way, I know exactly when Windows XP launched, and I stand by what I wrote. Back then, people were still clinging to 98. Windows 2000 was a fantastic OS. XP was also a great system that stayed relevant for a massive amount of time; my point is simply that there's no sense in arguing about something that everyone is going to adopt eventually. Some will jump on it immediately, while others will wait six months for the hype to die down. When you finally ask them what they're running, they’ll mutter, "Oh... Windows 7," as if they're embarrassed to admit it. Haha, it's always the same story.🙏

Well, for starters... XP doesn't have that lovely little feature where my entire PC just freezes up for a full minute and ignores absolutely everything I do.
But hey, it does have the feature where My Computer opens instantly when I double-click the icon! It also pulls up my drives and partitions lightning fast, and honestly, navigating through folders feels way snappier. There's more to it too, but those are definitely the big ones for me.

Windows Vista is basically like the second or third generation of a Ford Mustang. That first Mustang was absolute perfection—but the second one? Total disaster. Sometimes successors are just way worse than what came before them. It’s just how it goes. I’m just crossing my fingers that Windows 7 doesn't end up like those third or fourth gen Mustangs, which were even more of a mess than the second. If Vista actually holds up, Microsoft wouldn't be rushing out new Windows so soon—they'd milk every last cent out of the current version before moving on to make a fresh pile of cash.

Every single time a thread pops up about whether Windows Vista actually sucks or not, someone inevitably pulls out that tired old "well, remember when Windows XP first launched?" argument. Yeah, I remember them. And despite all the bugs they had and the fact that half the gamers back then were whining because their favorite titles wouldn't run, XP was still a massive step up from Windows 98. People transitioned to it fast without making nearly as much noise. I get the feeling that isn't happening with Vista at all. So, seriously, stop spouting that nonsense about how things were during the Windows XP era. You sound like you're reciting some outdated nursery rhyme. 🙂
