Best alternatives to Nero Burning ROM?

But honestly, I gave two of them a shot and neither comes close to Nero. They're just a total nightmare to deal with—way too complicated and way harder to use... 👎

So you're saying you couldn't find an alternative... What was it about Nera that bothered you so much?
Probably the footprint—it's several hundred MBs of nothingness—and all those useless tools. If that's the issue, just grab Nero Lite or Nero micro instead (one installs at about 30 MB, the other at 20 MB). You can find them here.

Yeah, Nero went from being this legendary burning software to what old-timers call "all bark and no bite." Even their Lite and Micro versions feel bloated if you just want to burn a disc. Like, 20-30 MB? I mean, a standard installation is maybe 7 MB—it doesn't go hunting for extra drivers, DirectX updates, or any other junk. It’s completely driverless, and honestly, it gets the job done just as well as Nero—maybe even better than Nera, if you ask me.

Nah, nothing was wrong with it...

It's just that I've got Red Dwarf on my computer, but it won't play. It won't work on the DVD. Tried everything else and it works fine, but this specific series just won't go. Pretty sure it's good though, since I can watch it on my PC...
